as for OP using makeup i think your so called pimple/dark circles is just an excuse for you and you just want to wear makeup.... and im guessing your girlfriend is really just a girl that's a friend or else there's noway it took her awhile to figure out
if you want to wear makeup go on ahead and "man-up" about it and dont be ashamed over it maybe then you'll have the cojones to step out of the closet too; better to be out and proud than a shut-in

I didn't have terrible skin when I was younger, but I wanted better skin. I tried it once and broke out in the most intensely painful rash! I was swollen and had these little white dots everywhere. Took 3 days for it to go away.
Apparently, this is common with the product. You need to be careful.

in all honesty i would be a bit shocked and explain to you that you have nothing to be ashamed of. A relationship consists of accepting and loving who you really are. Flaws and all. And if the only reason she likes you is cause your face is spots free then she clearly isnt the one. My bf has pimples and scars and so do i. I'll be honest, i think you should embrace your skin and do what you can naturally to fix it instead starting off you relationship trying to cover up who you are. ex? you bring home a really hot girl, sleep with her, wake up the next morning and BAM shes an ogre. Why? cause her make up rubbed off all over your pillows while she stayed the night. so wouldn't you have rather known that right from the start? Im not saying you're an ogre. Im just saying you should be honest and if she really likes you and wants to be with you. It wont be an issue.
