| My girlfriend realised i wear foundation!
I used very light foundation to cover some redmarks and dim out some pimples, and i was in outside when she just said 'your wearing makeup arent you'... i was stumped for words and said it was a fake tan, then she says 'i know its foundation i can tell...do you always wear it?' and i just tried changing the topic...And now she told one of my guy friends who proceeded to laugh the hell at me...
I know if i never wore foundation i would never have gotten a girlfriend in the firstplace, it makes me look clear 99% since most of what i have is prolonged redmarks...it makes me look so much better i cannot bear not wearing it now...
girls, if you found out a guy you liked or went out with wore foundation or concealer how would you react? is it wierd? |

It's one thing to be metrosexual, but wearing makeup as your daily thing is on a whole other level.
When it comes to having effiminate qualities, some lines are gray, but this one... its pretty black and white IMO.

The use of foundation is not the issue; it is your complete lack of self-confidence or commitment to beliefs, and having a Girlfriend and Friend willing to break your trust and mock you.
A person who is seriously interested in you would not allow minor issues with complexion interfere with a relationship, and any girl who would isn't worth seriously pursuing. The willingness of your current GF to mock you, and to proceed by encouraging your "Friend" to join her makes that abundantly clear. If wearing a touch of foundation makes you feel good, do it. If someone notices, tell them. It's your business, your decision, and should be no one concern of any other person.

Its better to be a manly man who sports his facial imperfections, than a girly man who hides behind make up. Posted via RS Mobile |

Well, if you think about it, she would of found out sooner or later. What if she wanted to go swimming? or another physical activity that involves lots of sweating (sex?)
Your first mistake was lying to her when she caught you. If your response was a simple "yes", I'm sure she wouldn't make such a big deal out of it and tell your guy friend.
And to be honest, nobody is perfect. We all have our imperfections. If you're afraid your girlfriend would leave you if she found out you had pimples, well; this relationship probably won't last too long and I'm not sure why you would want to be with someone so shallow.

My acne spot treatment is tinted, which I think is brilliant. Methinks all acne spot treatment should be tinted.
But putting on foundation as a daily thing? I'm not one to judge, but I'm sure there are some girls out there who'd find you...shall we say, interesting?

I use BB cream occasionally as a spot reduction when I have to be somewhere important and I have a huge ass pimple on my face. Other than that, I think it's weird to wear it on a daily thing.. but in different cultures, guys wear foundation and eyeliner all the time and people don't take a second glance, e.g. Japan

its normal for koreans to do it and widely accepted. sometimes even encouraged.
Be confident about it and no one will give a shit. Its just like and is bullying. Dont be afraid/react to it and no one will care.
TBH i laughed at my friend for wearing BB cream but we are close enough to laugh it off. Sometimes i even comment on the unevenness and tell him to fix it up.

Unfortunate for me though, a sundress would be much more comfortable in the heat than carhartts.
If using spots of foundation to even out his complexion makes BethesdaSkyrim a fairy, a chiffon floral print definitely qualifies me for a least equivalent status, but you won't see me making an anonymous post. BethesdaSkyrim and I can rock the fairy status together, superficial effeminate qualities have no impact on the far more profound characteristics of our personalities that are actually worth a damn. I could care less about being assigned to any group based on some trait of irrelevant importance, and BethesdaSkyrim shouldn't either, contrary to what you suggest
