Good to know, I just bought a set of those so I'll keep an eye on them. I had bought the SkullCandy PLYR but the mic never worked and you had to reboot the base a minute after starting up every time so I returned them for these.
Either way they're pretty cheap compared to most of the competition and I love the on screen feedback for the buttons.

i actually find the first ps3 headset ($99) more comfortable on my head than the pulse elite.. maybe because i have a big head and has bigger ear muffs
from the reviews im reading, the ps4 gold headset is essentially the first ps3 headset rebranded, even the design takes cues from it..
i can hardly tell the difference in the virtual 7.1 sound between the 2 ps3 headsets other the "vibration" on pulse elite
^i havent been able to connect a single online game on bf4 since the update..
and server browser is completely fucked.. nothing but empty servers shows up when search for conquest etc...
picked up the new ps4/ps3 headset... best buy marine drive was already selling them
its still cheaply made but feels more comfortable than the previous elite headsets.. feels alot lighter because of the plastic and foam its manufactured with.. i can snap this thing easily
battery seems to last up to a good 8 to 9 hours.. big step up compared to the previous ones where it can only last 4 hours or so

use the in game filters - show servers free slots 6-10 players, hardcore, ranked, region etc. those are some that i use and i find a decent amount of games. when i don't see what i want, i join from battlelog (more games show up there).

i believe if u dont use the filters when looking for servers, it'll pull up the servers with 0 players on the top while the ones with players will be listed at the bottom, so ull have to go all the way down to see them.

bf4 since the last update has been very inconsistent to me, i wasnt able to play a single game during the 2 weekend double xp they held this month.. then i tried logging in this week and it was fine... logged in earlier tonight and it again said i :failed to connect" to every single game
i hope they release a patch before second assault rolls through next week. i want to play operation metro and caspian border again
But here’s the thing. Until just recently, no one’s actually seen the game. Sure, I saw a behind-closed-doors tech demo when I was at Gamescom last year, and we have the really pretty reveal trailer, too, but no one outside of Sony and Ready at Dawn has been privy to what The Order: 1886 is all about. Until now.
Such secrecy raises a healthy amount of skepticism in our show-me industry, especially when talking about a game in active development since 2010 (and “incubating” since 2006). I can’t help but think of The Last of Us’ rock-solid demo shown at E3 2012, a full year before the game launched, and wonder why Ready at Dawn and Sony seem so unwilling to showcase what is arguably the year’s biggest and most important PlayStation 4-exclusive title. Is it because Ready at Dawn is worried about showing too much, about being spoilery? Or is The Order: 1886 simply not ready for primetime?
The brief 10-minute hands-off demo I witnessed confirmed some of my fears. The portion of the adventure I saw ran relatively poorly, with sudden, sharp transitions between scenes, audio issues, and a lagging framerate. Ready at Dawn’s CEO and Founder Ru Weerasuriya was quick to point out that this sliver of the game wasn’t QA tested and optimized at all, and that there might be problems. But I was left wondering how this could be the best 10 minutes of the game the studio had to show, especially when he reiterated that The Order would indeed launch in 2014
Anybody Pre-Order or getting MGSV:Ground Zeroes? I just put in my pre order today, I'm pretty excited about it, it's the first game on the PS4 that I'm ACTUALLY looking forward to playing.

It's about 1 hour of gameplay using the new engine.. I guess if you're a hardcore fan that's OK.. but to me it seems like more than anything that they are taking advantage of the hardcore fans this way
