Finally got around to giving chia plotting a try (I know I know what a waste of time in the delay)

Using madmax version 7, not sure if I have everything setup ideally, but it's so far taking 31mins a plot (1872.46 seconds)

Not bad I guess

OLD QUESTION!!!!

What are you guys going to do with your GPU, when ETH 2.0 and POS starts ? ETA end of 2021, or beginning of 2022.
Only 5-6 month left.

So far, mining ETH vs RavenCoin, 35% less profit.
ETH vs Conflux, 39% less profit.
Also, whats gonna happen to RavenCoin and Conflux ? Will it shoot up ? or tank ? since majority of miner will start mining these coins.

and GPU is gonna be dirt cheap by then i think.

I'm just going to keep mining whatever /shrug
Might be a lull for awhile, might not be, either way

I debated selling the gpus closer to the end of the year, but unless the market is still hot, I probably won't, we'll see how things look by then

most of us probably already recouped the cost of GPUs by then.
At least we are not at losing side.

Yep totally, that's why I'd probably just continue mining, unless I can get several months of earnings by reselling the gpus at that time (if earnings r super low)

Warning siabtc.com is a scam exchange. Someone is running a discord pump group giving out signals on what crypto they are going to pump everyday on siabtc.

I don't understand how anyone doesn't have at least 5% of their portfolio in crypto.

It's the best returning asset over the last 10 years and people are still not allocating to it.

It seems rather foolish not to.

I would say BTC and ETH will both go ATH again this year.

If crypto keeps going up and up.
GPU market will still be fked.

1. most people still don't understand it.
2. It's to volatile. People can't handle the swings.
3. It's harder to buy and store then other investments.
4. people think it's a scam.

Regular folks can invest via BTCC. Eliminates most of the concerns although volatility will always be around.

Don't keep your coins on an exchange. Being your own bank is one of the things people like but can also be a bit scary.

Why would someone use an exchange over themselves?

I guess in case their PC/Phone crashes, it's an external source to access their funds?
