My friend bought me an Ellipal Titan he said it’s better than most because it uses QR codes to connect to stuff rather than cables or Bluetooth so it’s more secure?

Hey Manic!

Do you know how to use TRUECAD (TCAD) and earn interest on that.
You mentioned before you can use it on crypto.com. Do you know how I could do that?

Anyone hear about this?

This was a free mint when it was launched.
Not sure why all these NFT's are just going off lately. I guess that's where the market is going these days

I see NFT's as having 3 perspectives...

You can choose to:

a) Foam at the mouth about how stupid the whole thing is
b) Get involved and try to get yours
c) Sit back, crack a beer and cheer people along or have a laugh at all the traditional capitalists doing choice A

I choose the latter lol

Lol it had a few twists n turns but ended up being legit... maybe

Speaking of NFTs, so i put some terrible "music" i made way back in the day on OpenSea because its predicted to skyrocket given what people are willing to buy - how do minting costs work? Can I mint the whole collection or is it per "art piece"? I cant imagine people willing to spend upwards of $200 USD of their own money to create some of the pieces of crap you see online.

When I minted, it cost me about 150cad, this was summer 2020
Cost was the same for a single copy (image), and edition of 10
The whole process was like trying to learn Photoshop (very complicated) but achievable in about an hour

I have read / watched some videos, where you can make nfts for free, depending what website you do it off of / the network it's on / etc. I found this option involved even more steps, and added double the complexity

Although reading what you said.... You put it on opensea, but now your trying to mint it?
I thought you mint first, then put it on opensea or whatever website.

Goes to show how much I know....

I think if you set a price the buyer pays if they make an offer you pay.

In other news the company block formally know as Square run by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is working on decentralizing bitcoin mining by making mining equipment that is affordable, easy to buy and plug and play.

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/01/13/jack...ng-system.html

Intel is unveiling a ultra low voltage bitcoin mining ASIC in February.

It's going to be nice to have more competition in the bitcoin mining space.

This winter specifically has been cold, someone should start building miners into baseboard heaters given how much energy they consume/heat they produce. It looks like there are a few companies already doing it but if they can get them to very low voltage it might actually be feasible.

You don't really need to convert anything. just put them into a room that needs heats. Add a fan for better heat circulation. Only downside is the noise.

When you sell on opensea for the first time. There is a $200 or so one time charge. From than on when you list an item from a collection, you paid gas fee the first time to approve said collection. Once you do that you can list the rest of the collection without gas fee.

Offers people make in weth, YOU the seller have the pay the gas fee. You will also need to pay gas fee to convert it back to eth

Minting with Opensea is the easiest way, but also the shittiest way. You are basically using OS's own contract and no legitimate collection will want to do that because of the limitation it has and the dependency on Opensea. Big collection using OS's own contract is usually a major red flag.

The best ponzi scheme in the space right now is Staking LOOKS token on Looks Rare the Opensea competitor that just popped up. 100% of the Trading fee on Looks Rare goes back to trader and staker. Because a lot of collection do not build their creator fee into their contract, their collection defaults to 0% creator fee on Looks Rare thus making Wash trading profitable. APR floating around 600-800% depending on the time of the day. Rewards are unlocked everyday and there is usually a predictable dump by the whales, follow by propping up of the coin price back to a profitable range for wash trading rewards.

If you actively trade NFT, there is also arbitrage opportunity available between Opensea and Looks Rare.

Got airdrop 1500 LOOKS token for free about 2 week ago. All the tokens plus weth rewards right now are worth about $10k USD

If you qualify for this airdrop. Check now, literally free money.

Just an update.

My OHM stake went from about $1400 USD and it's now worth $300... lol

YOu're supposed to migrate it to Version 2, but I can't seem to get it to work. My metamask isn't showing a confirm button, so not sure what to do? lol

The gas fee's were only like $30 according to metamask and I have at least a few hundred worth of ETH, so I don't think it's that?

Were you able to migrate to V2 for OHM?
