Price is dipping, time to get back into this, buy some and sit on it, and wait for next crest.

If you're looking for only a short term play, I would caution. BTC price just broke a support level of $58k USD. Next Support level would be around $52k USD. So the floor could keep dropping.

This is all just basic technical analysis which is just stock market astrology. So YMMV.

If you believe in the long term of BTC, then it's always a good time to buy. It just depends on your thesis.

It's possible, but I think one thing people aren't talking about is how much cash there is on the side lines right now. Everyone was expecting a crash/pull back already, so there are a lot of hedgefunds and money managers holding cash right now.

Eventually, these guys have to deploy their capital otherwise Mr. Market is going to run them by.

Maybe they won't be buying crypto, but I think that's the thesis for the equity markets in general to continue on ripping higher well into 2025.

Bitcoin scams are up. Had a person come a few weeks back all the way from Campbell river to use our machine. I guess they wanted a location where no one would know them. I yelled at thew guy on the phone in Punjabi. A few minutes later some one called the store wanting to talk to the manager because he wanted to file a compliant because an employee (me) was rude. LOL. I told him to fuck off.

Today an old lady came in asking for help with the machine. Her boyfriend needed money for medication. I could not het a final number out of her but i looks like she had already sent around $1500 USD. She was so happy that I told her it was a scam.

I checked the QR code he sent and he has over 2 bitcoin in the account and hundreds of transactions.

Looks like I am being targeted boys. Last week I got a call from someone claiming to be from the ledger security team. this morning while I am sleeping I get a call from someone claiming to be from the CRA. He had my name and address. Tried to catch me slipping when I was half sleeping. Tried to ask for a case number but the dude who sounded Asian would not shut up. Checked my email had some spam looking email asking me to activate a wallet by clicking a link. I don't know how it got passed googles spam filters.

Self banking can be a pain.

I got a call from "Ledger Support" a few times. They all had very nice English accents. I was surprised. It's a known scam, but just caught me off guard with the English accent.

I can't imagine people who own crypto would fall for this sort of thing? Doesn't everyone know not to give out your seed phrases?

-sounds like the same scammer that called me recently. That motherfucker sounded like an Asian dude. I swore at him in Canto with all the DLLM and other choice words that Guangdong bastards like me know.

-kept telling the guy "Where is your letter???" "CRA eh???" I hang up on him.

CRA will never call anyone out of the blue about a "security issue". CRA by law must sent an official letter on Canadian government letterhead advising of any issues.

Good question. One of the advantages of Bitcoin:

No Government Control:
Unlike traditional currencies issued by central banks, Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, meaning no single entity controls it.

I think that organized crime, criminal syndicates would use bitcoin for their line of work because no government can control bitcoin.

There is no financial audit trial of these types of cryptocurrency transactions.
Dirty deeds of criminals cannot be tracked using bitcoin.

I could see organized crime use bitcoin for money laundering. Do they need the services of people with "special skills"? An assassin? Pay the hitman with bitcoin.

Not really… I mean BTC has its owners and prior owners built right into it, part of the point is you can trace exactly where it’s been and when it’s been transacted

BTC is like a carbon trap but instead of trapping carbon, it traps fiat...

I can't believe I didn't get in on it!
