Wrong and wrong again.
If it wasn't for IMF printing fake money to pump into a fake market and the fact that they restrict the stock market from being a TRUE market with the plunge protection team. Then the stock market would drop just as much if not more guaranteed.
5600$ now and climbing.
If it drops again i'm going to throw 20-50% of the value of a SFM in east van into it. Quote:

Sorry to say Skinny, but you're taking the position of Bear Stearns on this one. I think this crash proves the value of cryptocurrency: 0. No one will be talking about Bitcoin in 10-20 years. I hope you're not losing your socks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r24WHw9UJTI
EDIT - As I posted that, it has shot back up to $5100. Swings like that are just stupid for investors. Likely a dead cat bounce as circuit breakers are going in Asian markets. Tomorrow will be another bloodbath in the markets. | |

I just don't want to argue about bitcoin with investor type people. I'm not an investor, but I believe in it. It's volatile now which hurts, but that's just how it is for now. Not much more to say really

Bitcoin's been around for what... 10 years now? It should've taken off by now if it was going anywhere. Instead, it trades like a commodity or a stock, the only difference is stocks are backed by hard assets that have value. Crypto is backed by nothing but faith.
Up or down, at least a good stock will spit out a monthly or quarterly dividend that you can actually spend on stuff.

It's been around as a usable currency for about 3 years. Even if it's been around for 10 years, compare that to the GBP... 320 years...

The general public isn't going to accept currency that you can print at home.

Bitcoin has fully recovered from that 60% crash, when everyone declared it dead for the 1 millionth time
Time to buy stuff again, with a 60% discount
Dow Jones has recovered 5% of its 40% crash since then |

Wish I bought in at the crash earlier this year.
Bought some more when it hit $15k. I am surprised how it is skyrocketing the past few weeks.
For those that use Shakepay. Do you keep it on Shakepay, use a digital wallet, or physical cold wallet?

I was lucky enough to be one of the last people to get my money off of Quadriga a few years back.
Had to hound them every couple of days for like a month, but I got it all.
Much easier now with things like ShakePay. Takes only a few minutes to send and receive now.

Second what Razor said with shakepay. So Convenient and iirc these are regulated.
Hopefully the bear market has scare most if not all of the sketchy brokers out of business.
Did some transaction last night and it took a bit of time. I take that as good sign of major FOMO coming lol

It was a giant ponzi scheme at the end. People's incoming deposits were used to payout withdrawals.

Almost at ATH with no media attention and institutions like PayPal scrambling to buy any newly minted coins.
This is exciting indeed
