Does anyone have any experience changing their transmission filter? (I have 05 Accord V6)

inv4zn 05-24-2013 11:23 PM

I looked into it, but gave up because it's a DIY only thing and it looks like a massive pain to do lol

Does anyone know where to buy a aux jack to install into 05 accord?

sounds good has them, they set mine up so I just have to hit the CD button twice and it goes to my 3.5mm cable.

There's 2 different versions of the aux, you can get the ipod aux and then you can use steering wheel buttons to control ipod, or just get the basic 3.5mm and have to control from the device

do you remember how much was the part plus install cost?

BrRsn 07-17-2013 07:53 PM

does anyone know the size for the front rotors on the 2003 accord V6 with the auto tranny?

Specifically, the thickness?

so guys, i have a question, so i have a 2007 honda accord i wanna fix my tail lights. 3 of the led blub are burnt out and i just want to know where i am able to get it fixed without having to go thru honda?

inv4zn 07-31-2013 05:36 PM

As far as I know, you have to replace the entire LED cluster.

Do you have a sedan or a coupe? Pictures of the burnt out bulbs in question?

ilovebacon 08-01-2013 03:57 AM

it's a sedan, you are right about replacing the whole led kit. But i just don't know where to find it.

Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store

only real way is to go thru honda, if not junkyards

2007 HONDA ACCORD Parts - CurryAcuraParts4Less

You're looking for this - Number 7 on the diagram - It's $220 for just the LED cluster though.

IMO, it's probably cheaper for you to get new taillights from either ebay or a junkyard.

It doesn't really make sense that just 3 LED's will burn out though. They're SMD's if i remember correctly, and are imprinted on a circuit board.

Does anyone know where I can get a mounting kit to install a deck in 2005 Accord? Or should I just get a basic 3.5mm AUX (if my end goal is to have AUX play through cellphone)

inv4zn 09-23-2013 11:35 AM

Double DIN or single?

Purely 09-23-2013 04:44 PM

Single would be fine, I'm just tired of radio music.

Would BlitzSafe HON/AUX DMX V.2X EnfigCarStereo.com be better, or a deck? How much are generally mounting kits for them ?

!Aznboi128 09-23-2013 06:21 PM

you can get a single din + pocket for the bottom cubby or double din like mine or you can use that adapter you've listed, it depends on what you want at the end.

best pic I have for now... older deck that's in there but you get the point

inv4zn 09-23-2013 06:58 PM

^I have the same one.

Double-Din adapter, made by Honda haha.

Purely 09-24-2013 11:15 AM

how much would something like that cost?

honestly I can't remember but I got it from Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store

Lomac 09-24-2013 09:21 PM

I've got a single din w/cubby hole in my coupe. Got it through Soundsgood for pretty cheap, if I remember correctly. lol

What I've always wanted to do was incorporate the relocation kit with the original cubby door some how.

!Aznboi128 09-24-2013 09:43 PM

I took the cubby door, just the front piece it screws off from the back and place it in front of my double din when I park

inv4zn 09-24-2013 10:33 PM

Kingsway Honda told me it would cost $300, and would take 4 months since it's on backorder.

I called Honda in Bellingham, they matched online price of $69 (or something), and they had it ready for me to pick up in 2 business days.

!Aznboi128 09-24-2013 10:36 PM

LOL $300 bucks?

I'm pretty sure no local Honda's can get it as it's discontinued.
Keep an eye out for year as well because my 07 has a thinger-majiger behind the cubby that kinda blocks the kit so only some will work

inv4zn 09-24-2013 10:45 PM

I think what Aznboi is talking about is the Yaw sensor, and it's only vehicles that have VSA. Not sure if that's year dependent or trim dependent.

I think it also has to do with the depth of your deck. Mine's pretty tight as well.
