^how so? I think you are wrong. This is a person giving an impromptu interview on the morning that he finds out that his nephews may be involved in a horrific bombing. It's also clear there may be some existing family rift.

He's a corporate lawyer and executive by trade. Obviously, he thrived in America's system and it seems he adapted well with opportunities he might not have gotten at home. I don't think its unrealistic to believe that he really loves his adopted country since I have family that would feel the same way (half of my family are Americans and also successful immigrants like him). I think anyone with half a conscience would want to disassociate themselves with such a heinous crime.
