Vancouver police evacuated Canada Post’s downtown Vancouver processing plant Monday shortly before 5 p.m. after an employee found several grenades while X-raying a package.

The building was evacuated after a Canada Border Services Agency employee called police after finding the grenades, which may be live explosives, inactive or even novelty items, according to the police.
someone probably just bought a box of collectibles but given the bombing in boston the cbsa agent freaked

Sadly death toll rising; Three people were killed in the bombings, Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis told reporters Monday night.

Really sad news. It is a sad reminder to Americans and I guess all of us that we are still at war.

I know we all shouldn't come to conclusions but the fact that they bombed innocent people as opposed to the government or law enforcement makes this seem like it was an extremist terrorist attack.

BTW wouldn't you bleed out in minutes after losing 2 limbs? I'm assuming all the pressure/cauterizing wouldn't really make a huge difference at that point

Looks like the guy in the cowboy hat is holding his artery or a tourniquet.

Definately very sad and scary how this attack was out of nowhere.

Looks like they tied his leg a little higher to on the thigh to prevent excessive blood loss.

Man this was scary to hear. Im currently part of the BMO marathon team and this really shocked us today. I sure hope this doesn't happen at our event.

bballguy 04-15-2013 05:54 PM

Guy directly helping that dude is a fucking hero.....I can hardly look at the fucking picture, let alone be able to do whatever that guy is doing without fucking throwing up...not in uniform or anything either, so quite likely he's just some 'average' dude....

You have a better chance of crossing the street then getting struck by a car than a criminal organization plotting a terrorist strike here in Vancouver, CANADA.

I know its irrational, but this really makes me not want to do the Sun Run this weekend...
