IIRC, they said AV didn't do that. He let the players work it out amongst themselves.
I believe it was Bieska that said that in an interview.

AV was a hands off coach, which is a terrible way to coach IMO. Look at NYR's record for further review of why its bad.

It all makes sense now. AV was coaching by delegating. :suspicious:

Torts is certainly direct and honest in his communication to the players. He coaches in a tough, firm, but a fair way.

-sounds like AV let the players run the meetings on their own like an amateur hockey club of players. :)
