jdmhaze 10-19-2013 11:50 AM

I thought they would let Richardson have a go after his nifty short-handed goal this year

radioman 10-19-2013 11:50 AM

Deserved that win.
Good road game.

radioman 10-19-2013 12:20 PM

Can you name all 43 players to score a goal assisted by both Sedins? [QUIZ]

vyrospec 10-19-2013 12:44 PM

lilaznviper 10-19-2013 12:54 PM

it was a good game. nucks just suck at shootouts

Speed2K 10-19-2013 12:57 PM

Interesting choice for shooters, despite the fact he had a blank slate, Torts goes mostly with the usual suspects that AV used. Considering that the Canucks now practice the shootout, suppose they are the best we have? In which case we don't have much hope in winning too many shootout games. :/

Entertaining game nonetheless! Lu just needs to work on the rebound control.

winson604 10-19-2013 01:03 PM

I did horrible, 21/42 :okay:

There were a hand full of players names that I wouldn't have got in a millions years.

dbaz 10-19-2013 01:21 PM

39/43 fuuu.

punkwax 10-19-2013 01:32 PM

^ well you just gave 4 of the toughest away to other ppl..

If you got 39 all from memory, that's impressive. I find it hard to believe, to be honest. I only got 22.

Tim Budong 10-19-2013 01:36 PM

37

not bad

dbaz 10-19-2013 02:12 PM

kristianhay 10-19-2013 02:27 PM

Shit is hard.

It's strange how Daniel and Henrik CAN score on penalty shots, but suck in shootouts.
And Luongo is so solid in penalty shots, but generally sucks in the shootouts.

But Luongo played great in today's shootout. Canucks attempt were terrible.
Edler came in with so much speed. I don't know if that really made a difference or not,
because he usually goes 5-hole with that same move, although usually skates in much slower.
When a shooter skates in so fast like that, it's easy for the goalie to read that the shoot's not going to be changing directions,
unless the shooter has hands like Bure.

I don't know why Kesler tried to deke on his attempt.
The whole point of his "skate-in-fast-and-slow-down" setup benefits a shot attempt, not a deke...
