Really? I thought the Blackhawks were going to take the cup based on when they had their super long win streak. 
Judging a team on paper can be a crapshoot, because ultimately, it's whether the players can stay healthy and elevate their game when it matters most.
But chances sure increase when the team at least looks good on paper...
Pocket Aces aren't going to win every hand, but it sure does help if you have them.
And right now... I'll say we have like a 9, J off suit... 
but too many better possible hands out there.
(sorry, I love using poker analogies)

I honestly don't see much advantage on the 2011 team aside from Ehrhoff and Salo.
It really rests on the core players like the Sedins/Burrows/Kesler/Edler/Bieksa to step the fuck up during that time and lead the rest of the team to play a better game.
Look at Chicago this year. Toews didn't score, Kane would, both of them didn't score, they have other players to step it up. | The difference is the Sedins and Kesler have all seemed to regress.
We have less defensive depth.
Alex Edler has been attending too many raves.
Sestito is penciled into our starting line-up

yeah the landy deal is a bit ... wtf for me, but one thing I didn't realize until reading some of the comments was that the deal buys 3 UFA years because he came into the league at 18. So I guesssssssssss in that sense it ain't terrible but I would have liked to seen a bridge contract of 2 yrs or so before he got PAID.

I'd say a K5 suited.
If the league is really shitty this year, maybe a high card will win.
If the league is mediocre at best, maybe a two pair high kicker will win
If lucky, lands a full house
Would you go all-in with a K5? Most likely not, unless you're on tilt. And the canucks fans are on tilt, so they'll bet for the win.
