Johnny Hendricks is a 2x national, wrestled when he was a little kid. His dad coached/pushed him, made him do insane amount of pushups, etc. That foundation is incredible and has made Hendricks wrestling formidable. Versus, GSP who probably started wrestling in his 20s. I was more surprised that GSP held up decently against Hendricks. So props to GSP, that just shows you how hard he trained for the UFC. |

I think that's what Rogan meant when he said "These are hard punches, Mike!" :troll: |
hendricks can take 75% of his own power :troll: |
Lol, the guys in TUF this season are goofing so hard. Posted via RS Mobile |

tuf this season is a disaster. i haven't seen one good episode. |
i've caught a couple episodes. the women seem like good fighters and had some decent fights. guys look like total chumps i don't even pay attention. the more i see rousey on the show the more i don't want to watch her. |

They should have made it an all womens season though. There seem to be no more good or interesting male fighters left that haven't been signed already. |
RIP Shane Del Rosario |
I don't think they've unplugged him yet but it doesnt sound good. Basically dropped dead from a massive heart attack at home. Hes 6'3, 250lbs and his roomate, Ian McCall, 5'5 125lbs, did CPR until the amberlampse came. |
wtf caused a heart attack in a 30 year old athlete is what I want to know |
They haven't taken him off life support, but he's brain dead. Absolutely no brain activity at the moment. It's going to take a miracle for him to recover :( Posted via RS Mobile |

Long-term anabolic steroid use may weaken heart more than previously thought 30 is just too young to go, regardless of reason. |
Quickly, blame steroids Hes had to pull out of his last 2 fights due to injury, hasnt cracked into the top 20, and his roomates name is "Uncle Creepy". Stress induced heart attack? |
Wasn't blaming, was just guessing; their use isn't uncommon in the sport. Just read this: Shane continues to cling to life at Hoag hospital in Newport Beach, CA. After arriving at the emergency room in full cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning he was resuscitated to stable rhythm and blood pressure, but has not regained consciousness. Doctors believe he may suffer from a rare condition called Long QT Syndrome which is a genetic anomaly that can cause a sudden and life threatening heart rhythm abnormality, and may result in sudden death. Tragically, it strikes healthy young people and often is the first and only presentation of a heart problem. UFC Heavyweight Shane Del Rosario Continues To "Cling To Life" - MMAFrenzy.com |
