Not really racist! 12-29-2013 02:28 PM

Miller was robbed of sub of the night

some gifs of last night

SkinnyPupp 12-29-2013 04:50 PM

I agree that he should have gotten it... But then Ronda was directly responsible for a few million $ of income last night, so I won't complain too much :)

He probably got an incentive of some sort

subordinate 12-29-2013 09:07 PM

Not sure what Tate can do now, maybe star in a porno/playboy?
She's out of her league with Ronda.

And I hope Silva comes back, 3rd times the charm :fullofwin:

SkinnyPupp 12-29-2013 09:15 PM

Nobody is in Ronda's league... Although her next opponent is also an olympic medalist (silver in wrestling), a medal in women's wrestling is not comparable to a medal in women's judo. Not even close

2 n r 12-29-2013 09:18 PM

there was an article with pics that suggested Tate got a boob job
she should totally do Playboy, she might look better than Arianny did

SkinnyPupp 12-29-2013 09:23 PM

You don't need an article with pics, it's extremely obvious she got a boob job. It is ridiculous and stupid that a female athlete get a boob job.. like how does that help them?

I wonder if it'll pop eventually... that has happened several times in the WWE

subordinate 12-29-2013 09:27 PM

Agreed that wrestling doesn't come close to Judo.
Out boxing Ronda would be the only real way of beating her

SkinnyPupp 12-29-2013 10:08 PM

Actually that fight being more 'competitive' than expected may end up working out for her even better... She has the tendency to kind of go crazy and rush things.. going for armbars that aren't there, etc. This time she seemed much more patient by partway through the 2nd round. It helps her standup too, because that's where she usually seems the most lost when she's impatient.

RRxtar 12-29-2013 10:23 PM

I dont know why Misha kept going for the take down over and over and over. She was getting tossed like a rag doll every time. And she was actually putting some hands on Ronda when she boxed.

SkinnyPupp 12-29-2013 10:26 PM

Because she literally has the worst corner man in MMA :troll:

mr_chin 12-29-2013 10:33 PM

Man, I feel bad for Silva.

I gotta say though, his foolishness in the octagon led to his downfall.

MarkyMark 12-29-2013 10:44 PM

Getting caught once in like 6 years by baiting people in with a tactic that worked pretty much every other time led to his downfall?

I'd say not drinking enough milk fucked him more than that lol

I was mind blown the whole time during the fight when Tate kept clinching and going for takedowns... lolwat...

She had a chance if they kept exchanging on the stand up

Bryan Caraway is a tough guy tho. He threw some sweet elbows at Cat Zingano back stage a while back lol

GLOW 12-30-2013 07:55 AM

machida won't have to worry about fighting his friend no more.
enter the dragon

Berzerker 12-30-2013 10:35 AM

If I was Tates corner I literally would have said "what the fuck are you doing trying to take her down" I said multiple times while watching lol. She did good at a distance I guess fighter instinct is hard to overcome.

i was really hoping she would have learned and kept her distance with stand up exchanges.

SkinnyPupp 12-30-2013 03:16 PM

That is a broken person.. I do hope she gets some support psychologically... We already know she's dumb, but to be that broken is sad to see.

Also

"My corner told me to stop going for double leg takedowns"

Did you just start watching MMA this year?

That "clowning" is directly responsible for much of his success. he got caught ONCE by a great technique (double jab is the way to beat punch rollers). When he was more "serious" in the second fight, he was getting beat before breaking his leg.

And the "milk" and "train legs" comments.. I'm not sure if folks are being totally sarcastic or not.. but I don't think anyone on the planet has legs that could have withstood 2 full power leg kicks checked in the same spot with a knee... Maybe guys like Brock or Shane Carwin but not many more

With Corey Hill though, you have a point ;)

MarkyMark 12-30-2013 04:30 PM

The milk thing was a joke, i wonder how many people are going to think twice about throwing those kicks now

RRxtar 12-30-2013 04:34 PM

I think the thing with Miesha, and womens MMA in general, is its evolution is moving so fast right now.

Remember watching womans MMA in EliteXC/Strikeforce when people like Kim Couture had average skill, but really, really sucked. Fighters like Tate and Sarah Kaufmann evolved into skilled fighters that were the standouts. Now you have the new breed of fighters like Rousey who's skill level against everyone else is like GSP/Cain. It wont take long before evolution catches up and the next wave of skilled fighters comes in. WMMA has only been around on the main stage for a couple of years. Rousey I think will be around for a while tho. She has been fighting her whole life, and is getting better every MMA fight. Most girls, I think have some skill but they arent fighters at heart and crumple when they get hit.
