Just reverse mine on Fido number 527. Since I am full price for it. I am wondering if I go to the Samsung store and buy it from them will it be unlock?

I went to Samsung at Metro today regarding the S5. They said they sell them as locked. They are only getting white or black.

Sigh I mind as well get it from Fido then. I remember with the S4 the samsung store sells it unlock.

Wtf is the point of buying it from them if it's locked? Might as well just pick it up from your carrier

Too bad.. I might need to buy one from Asia, unlocked, depending what color they carry. I really like the blue one..

Just buy it from your carrier and hope you can buy the backing later.. essentially the blue one is a black with a blue backing.

If the gold has white bezel, it would look sick with a white back. Just plain gold trim.

I wonder if Rogers will offer a Samsung S5 and Gear 2 Bundle...

Would be great if they offered the Gear 2 at a discounted price if you upgrade to an S5.

does anyone know if there will be any deals at launch? so far Rogers is offering me a free s view flip cover if i reserve, i dont care for, it but it is $50 retail. will any other retailer offer anything else like gift card or whatnot?

phone broke so I went to fido see if I could get a deal on a S4. Pretty good deal $100 on a S4 with 2 year contract Since I got about $30 fido dollars I only paid about $60lish and about $100 to cancel my current contract and get a s4. A lot cheaper than paying $400 for a S5 on a 2 year contract.

WIND has the S5 arriving on the 11th for $229 on their $60 plan so probably $479 on their $40 plan since the pricing is similar to the note3

Rogers is selling the Neo 2 for $49.99 with a new phone.

I called and they said it was phone activations, could with an upgrade and renewal or new contract.

The catch is this.

In order to grab the watch for $49.99, you have to change your monthly plan to a current in market share everything plan.

One hell of a price jump if you ask me just for a damn watch:heckno:

I would rather pay for the smart watch full price then bump my plan up lol
