I agree. I've been reading up on the flap on some forums and many users just take it out (negating the water blocking functionality of it). It's supposed to be a single screw holding it together. It's also a very easy replacement if it snaps and the replacement lids are a few bucks on ebay.

I left mine on because rain.

The flap is great on my phone. However over time of having my phone in the shower the water somehow got into my earphone jack and now i cannot listen to music with headphones on :( other then that and the silver chips off the phones pretty good.

my flap does not fasten securely anymore. i wonder if its worth the effort to have it replaced under warranty

I saw the flaps on ebay for 2 bucks. I think it's a simple 1 screw replacement once you remove the battery cover.

is it normal for my phone to lag after half a year usage???

what other apps do you have running on the background? You can try installing Cleanmaster to clean up all the junk on your phone and see if that helps.

been checking everyday and Rogers S5 finally has the official update available OTA today after having to take it back down a week ago or so

EDIT and stuck in boot loop after OTA update. gets to lock screen, then restarts. lol. DO NOT get this update yet. still unstable.

i heard rooting can unlock wifi passwords and join any wifi, false or true?

The only way I've heard of is against routers that have WPS enabled. Your phone will brute force to get the PIN which will allow you to connect.
