2015 Subaru WRX STI

Not sure how many subaru fans there are on revscene but they are planning to reveal the new 2015 STI in 10 days at the 2014 north american international auto show

They better put something other than a EJ257 in that thing. Same engine since '04. Lazy Subaru.

it's not that anything is wrong with it, but they shouldn't be using same engine over and over again.

I wouldn't be happy if I'm buying a brand new 2015 vehicle and get 2004 engine.

New WRX already has the FA20 engine in it. I don't think the STI will be EJ any more.

I don't know how restricted stroke equals low hp?
HP= rpm x torque / 5252

and generally speaking low stroke = high rpm
(i think?)

At first I liked the shape but now it seems a bit like the previous model Civic...

The 2015 WRX is an FA20 based 2.0 turbo making 268hp or so. Direct injection will definitely push the STi in then right direction for engine technology. I'm guessing this STi will make near 350hp.
