Been waiting for Toyota to equip the Taco with it's 3.0L turbo diesel in NA for years but seriously looks like it will never happen. WTB imported Hilux from Thailand.. sooo...

2015 Ford F-100 Diesel if it's true they're set to launch this.

something blue and manual

Pretty set on a 2007-2009 997 Turbo with a manual transmission.

Sell the FRS next year, and move into a 5 door hatchback or wagon.

Volkswagen TDI. Would love something sportier but for everyday driving i want something that will give me good mileage.

Spoiler!

RS_Pat 08-04-2014 02:39 PM

Probably getting a family-oriented car like a Mazda 5.

Digging the new Ford Fusion though.

Gonna be crunching the numbers on a mk6 Golf TDI wagon that I was not aware was a manual at my dealership (just started working here less than three months ago). If the numbers don't look good, I'll hold out for something manual+turbo in spring 2015.

Looking to sell the TL maybe by next summer before resale drops again.

Cant decide E46 M3 or C63 :okay:

badboy 08-04-2014 03:12 PM

c63 obviously

Energy 08-04-2014 03:21 PM

Shouldn't the comparison be E9x M3 or C63?

It should, but i was never really into the E9x M3 as much as the E46's.

Well balanced manual coupe versus practical-ish sedan with raw power :accepted:

westopher 08-04-2014 03:53 PM

Do you want a fun car that can be practical when you want it to be, or a practical car that can be fun when you want it to be. Thats Mpower vs AMG best I can describe in one sentence. You will likely be able to get a nicer e46 compared to a c63 price wise as one is much further down its depreciation curve.

If you want to have more fun go for the E46 M3.

I would never consider an AMG because they are all automatic.

multicartual 08-04-2014 05:32 PM

Next car?

SmartCar with a Hayabusa engine swap

rJZx 08-04-2014 05:40 PM

I'm planning to sell my s14 kouki next year to import a jzx100 chaser :awwyeah:

iHeat 08-04-2014 05:48 PM

not getting a car anytime soon but want to own a 2012/2013 c63 AMG down the road or the new 2015 mustangs starting to grow on me .........:suspicious:

GS8 08-04-2014 05:49 PM

Oh I remember this thread. I changed my mind on all the choices I made in the OP.

Now I just want an LS powered car.

No for the type of car it is, the gas mileage has been great. I am wanting a hatchback or wagon. Stuffing goalie gear in the FRS is a pain, and I want to get a dog possibly next year.

So I will see. Probably sell and move into two cheaper vehicles. One toy and one that is more practical for the things I like to do.

Probably do a full reboot and sell the truck as well

westopher 08-04-2014 10:28 PM

I have no problem with a pitbull and goalie gear in my e36, which is basically an fr-s thats a bit faster and a lot more unreliable. I can't argue with the two car plan you've got in mind though.
