Will probably be close to $150k in a few years, 993 non-TT and older air-cooled 911's in Canada are still a reasonable price now but I suspect they'll go up significantly. Personally speaking the 993 TT isn't a special enough car to justify the inflated price tag, it's got collector value but as a car to daily or track it's nothing amazing and it doesn't have iconic/exotic style of something like a Ford GT. As an investment though I feel like it makes sense as they're considerably cheaper to maintain than truly exotic (flame suit on) supercars and 20 years down the road they'll sell for a fortune.

Seems like many of us want a Porsche of some kind, lol.

I wouldn't mind a 968 (as opposed to 944) but I never see them for sale.

Vehicles I would love to own:
Subaru 22b
Buick GNX - might just settle for a modded GN
GMC Syclone - childhood dream
1997 ITR
EDM LHD Milano Red ITR - just to be different
E30 M3 - um yeah
BMW 1M - low production numbers
997 Turbo or 997.2 GT3 or maybe even a 964 variation

These are the vehicles I tend to look at/for on a daily basis

Reality:
Thinking of selling my GD STi and buying a brand new Tacoma Access Cab TRD Off Road.

I got my toy car already last year so my next vehicle would be a KW T800 Heavy Spec
Fully spec'd out for my vocation would push it close to 200K :okay:

Not sure if they'll reach 150.. but they're definitely going up. I was looking for one in parallel with my nsx. average price seemed to be around 90k right now.

We should check back on this thread in a couple years and see what we actually end up with

EndLeSS8 02-18-2014 03:16 PM

I intend on staying a Toyota loyalist - they have been good to me
I'm on my second IS300. Bulletproof cars.

I plan on buying a Lexus IS-F

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Pb6OCG0wpI...is-f-front.jpg

And then re-buying my first car, as a project car - 1986 Toyota Tercel stationwagon

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J6oWKyGE0C...2B3A-C%2B1.jpg

The car had about 70bhp or something. It was awesome. I hope/plan to do any modern engine swap, heck even a Corolla engine swap, and it will be a HUGE bump in power.

white rocket 02-18-2014 03:18 PM

Nice! I'd add a first gen IS-F to my list for sure. Probably the best looking sport sedan available currently and they will only get less expensive as time moves forward.

slicrick 02-18-2014 03:53 PM

I would love to get a s2k but realistically will probably buy a SiR or GSR or something similar to those soon
