Just a nice request, don't mean to sound rude or anything, if you are going to start a new thread about a certain topic relating to a link, PLEAAASSE try to include at least a picture or two or a quote from the article in your original post, and not just a link.

Just a friendly request.

I was born mid 70's and didn't think I'd remember any of them but surprisingly a bunch of them do look familiar. We didn't go to McDonalds much when I was growing up but I've more then made up for it later and continue to do so. I don't let my kid have the toys though, he doesn't even ask anymore. He plays with it for like 30 seconds then it ends up on the floor in his toy room so no more......

Pull back cars, Stompers and Duck Tales; I remember those ones vividly. I was a Duck Tales fanatic in the 80's.

thirty years from now, people will say that the Despicable Me minions were the best McDonald's toy of all time.

heck, we even have a 14 page thread about it: http://www.revscene.net/forums/68617...ollection.html

Hang on to them. Unopened toys in about 30 years will be collectibles. I've got a few collections going, too.

Not happy meal toys, but those NHL hockey sticks, helmets, and limited edition Upper Deck cards were cool.

Was the Silver Surfer pewter figure part of the Happy Meal?

Also, those Halloween buckets were pretty sturdy. I still have them from when my kids used them for trick or treating, LOL.

Dang. I had that Garfield in the blue jeep. The only other McD toy's that I remember are the Super Mario toys. I think they were 89-90 though? It was Mario, Luigi, koopa troopa and goomba.

Wow, I recognize so many of these. I think my parents took me to McDonald's at least once a week as a kid...I can't even remember when the last time I went as an adult.

I remember so many of those (born in 1980). I expected Lego to be on the list though!

Also... bring back pizza already

#1 better be Muppet Babies

Followed by Garfield, and then Fraggle Rock...

Edit: Changeables? Did we get those in Canada?

Edit 2: I take it back. THESE WERE THE BEST

Edit 3: OMG ASTROSNIKS! THAT"S WHAT THEY'RE CALLED!

I kept picturing these things in my head, but could never remember what they were called. We had the space ship and a bunch of the characters

Yeah, they had way better toys in HK. My wife has a collection (e.g. Hello Kitty stuffed toys) and they look like toys you get from Toys R US or something.
