Got this nice fancy blue ticket to put beside all my vape gear now.

Was this on 41st heading west towards Fraser this morning around 8:15?

I saw a car get pulled over by an undercover car but I don't remember seeing them use a phone.

I was stopped at Kingsway and Southoaks (edit: around 2pm), but was seen "a few streets back"
I even asked the officer who wrote me up to double check with the undercover that saw me use a phone. He just stood there for a good 10-15 seconds holding his walkie, doesnt say anything, the replies with "I still feel comfortable with giving you this ticket" etc.

Well then. :rukidding:

I spoke with my friend who owns a vape shop, and (disclaimer: this is coming from someone whose word I would personally trust, but by no means is this legal advice..) he said you can dispute it and they can't press you for it.

By law, vapes are not recognized as a handheld electronic device that's illegal to use while driving. They are operationally the same as a CB radio (walkie-talkies that cops use), meaning they can be held in one hand and have a single button that you press to use. You don't have to use two hands or look away from the road while using it, so they are not a distraction.

He has multiple customers who have gotten ticketed. They all disputed it and all got the charges dropped. His advice is to not argue with the cop who tickets you, and just dispute it after.

:) now use that $167 to buy yourself a new mod :fullofwin:

Does premium labs have a store front where I can go to try juices etc?

Vansterdam 09-09-2015 01:50 PM

lol been stopped once and the cop just checks to see if its a weed vape or a ecig. Trick is to have both ;)

So the charging port on my subox is loose for some reason... not really loose, just if I plug in the cable it can kinda wiggle around a little bit. Bleh.

Also, was trying to charge my vape through my powerbank and it got really hot, now it's having trouble charging through the usb port :( Anyone have this issue before? I charged my GF's subox through the powerbox and it was fine, but now mine's pretty fucked :/

If theres no warranty you could just buy a spare charger and charge your batteries like that.

I have the black and white ones make me a offer lol.. gave the pink ones away and originally wanted blue+red but I just bought the new black/red subtank instead

it could be the VG/PG levels of your juice. the juice I use now I dont vape past 15W or else it burns where as the max VG stuff I can hit 25-30W no problem

i only use max vg juice. i think its because of the way i clean the tank out when i switch juices that the silicone seals have worn out. i always take the tank apart and wash everything out with water..

I do the same except I soak it in Iso first without the coil then soak/rinse with water

I dont think the seals would have anything to do with the coil burning though

really? i just put in another coil today and thats all black now too... i have no idea whats going on with this thing and now i'm out of coils. it shows its at .6ohms and i was vaping at 22watts.

i thought it might be the seals because when i put the tank back together i see juice down by the bottom seal. it goes in between the side of the tank and the seal.

i'm frustrated now and very tempted to just go and buy a pack of smokes. lol

Vansterdam 09-10-2015 09:33 PM

lower it to 15W and under bruh lol see if that works

Shitty luck, man.

Lost my ipv mini 2 and artic horizon last week, looking to upgrade to something similar, any suggestions? Not really into dripping or rebuilding and something thing that fits easily in the pocket.

^ Sigelei 75W (with temp control) and the Herakles tank. Best tank I have ever used, and IMO more flavour than the Arctic and very similar vapour production (can vape in the higher wattage range like the Arctic)

tried it at 15w, no flavour. i think i may have found a solution to my problem,

https://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_...antly_burning/

i've also overcome my noob fear of using my rba.. first time i tried it i fried the coil and burned the cotton. lol. now after careful observations of 3-4 youtube videos i think i've got it down pat. using the rba is actually pretty good, its flavour city!

Just got the evic-vtc mini, and man is this thing loaded with features.

For about the same price, this basically makes the Kanger Sub Kit obsolete. It has temp control and a couple other features which I thought were quite clever -- upgradeable firmware (temp control is still a newer thing and still kinda buggy), and bypass mode (bypasses the whole "computer system" and fires like a mechanical 18650 mod).

The Kanger kit is now quite inferior -- Can't fire below 0.3, no temp control, no bypass mode, no spring loaded 510 connection.. BUT the only thing I have to give to Kanger is that the Subtank is much better than the evic's Ego One Mega tank. If only more other tanks made tc coils... then the evic with a tc subtank/herakles/arctic would be perfect.

Woo vapemail from premium liquid labs!

Got poseidon and pineapple express.

Poseidon is awesome, cantelope cream is yum. Not too sweet, slightly creamy and a good ADV for me.

Let you know when i try out pineapple express
