I remember test driving a b16 one a few years back and you can definitely feel the chassis flex

TouringTeg 04-30-2019 11:57 AM

I have owned two with B16 which was great in such a small car. They do leak like crazy.

Its finally time to let go of my beloved car :*( Its been a joy to own and it has never let me down. Its no wonder why this car won so many awards for car of the year and most reliable car.

In case you're unfamiliar with the trim levels, this is the fully loaded model which includes a leather interior, huge sunroof, HID headlamps, heated/power seats and a nicer interior finish. It has 250hp and 250lb-ft of torque from the 2.5l turbo engine. (EJ255 engine code)

The car runs great and without any issues. It has high mileage but it will definitely keep going for a long time. Prior to my ownership of the vehicle, it received an engine rebuild and a new turbo ($6000+) in 2012. I've got receipts of all of the major work that's been done to it between 2008 to 2016.

There is one minor ICBC accident history that occurred in 2016. The repair cost was $892 to replace the front bumper, grill and fog lamps.

Onto the relevant stuff:

The good:
* Car runs very strong and is extremely reliable
* Interior and exterior condition is still very good (no rust or rips/deterioration of the leather)
* Engine has not been modified or driven aggressively
* There are absolutely no fluid leaks
* Shocks/Springs were replaced last year
* Brand new radiator and upper/lower hoses (less than 1000kms ago)
* Has an aftermarket sound system with a custom box that pounds! (Aux cable at the front)
* Aftermarket Blu-tooth calling
* Aftermarket 18in Enkei Rims (currently plastidip'd white, underneath is a gold/silver lip colour)
* OEM 17in rims + tires will come with the car (painted black)
* Every electrical component/function works flawlessly
* JDM Headlights + HID

The bad:
* Tires will need to be replaced (selling price reflects this)
* Front brake disks are slightly warped (hardly noticeable in city driving)
* One of the fog light bulbs are out
* Air Conditioning will need a recharge
* Slight humming sound from the exhaust at 1,700RPM when the engine is cold
* Will probably need an alignment done on the front wheels at some point

Please email me with any questions or to arrange a time to view the car. I will remove the add as soon as its sold.

Curious if the stock parts are available and if it was born an Alberta car or imported from back east. Regardless though; LHD, Canadian car, light reversible mods; if it's had a well treated life then it's definitely in the "Good Buy" conversation SeemsGood

westopher 05-02-2019 06:43 PM

Such a beautiful car, not a full retard price. Do it.

:considered:

Timing belt service, new Spoon suspension(not coil overs) and a few other items will be addressed later this month. I haven't dumped enough money into it yet to consider it a loss. Like JT, selling at a loss in the only way to go BrokeBack
