IIRC, 2004 is the least desirable model year for the STI, and there are some technical reasons behind it too. But I am not Subie guru enough to really know the intimate details.

2005 Honda S2000 (AP2) Suzaka Blue with blue interior.
- 59,800km
- US car
- $23,500
Either they don't know the (stupid crazy) market of these in Vancouver, or it's a fake ad.

If you bring your NA Miata to Flyin' Miata, the price to put that kit in it is USD$55K, that Miata is a great deal. It was listed for $24K earlier this spring.

People have been slamming LS into Miatas and E30's for under 10k since the Jurassic period when the T-rex roamed the earth.
5 times the cost? Are they using new crate motors or something?

I cannot even that some retard would pay them $55k + car.
Literally a C6Z06 would destroy this Miata in absolutely every conceivable way on the track and strip for 2/3 the price.

Does it cost USD$55K to have Flyin' Miata install an LS in an NA Miata, YES. The Flyin' Miata build is way more than just an LS motor, transmission and rear end (see list below), yes they're using new crate motors. I totally get it that one can pull an aluminum block LS motor from a junkyard and put together a V8 swap for super cheap: https://oppositelock.kinja.com/speed...und-1125469009
I guess there are enough people out there without the time or mechanical ability to do a V8 swap, and that's where FM comes in. The other thing you're guaranteed to get with their work is the knowledge that everything works as it should. Yes $55K USD is spendy but if one was considering doing that, why not pick up this car for 1/3 the price? One could buy their own Miata and drop an LS in and do all the mods that are on this one and maybe be in it for less than $20K, an LS3 crate engine alone costs $8K. https://www.flyinmiata.com/V8/turnkey.php
THE BASE PRICE IS $54,995 AND DOES NOT INCLUDE A CAR.
SPECIFICATIONS - 430 hp 6.2L LS3 V8 engine with a two year nationwide warranty
  - 6-speed T56 Magnum transmission with a custom shift lever
  - FM spec Moroso steel oil pan with baffling
  - LS7 clutch and flywheel
  - AAM differential as used on Camaros or G8s
  - custom-built dual pass crossflow radiator
  - dual Spal fans on a custom shroud
  - new aluminum driveshaft
  - heavy duty halfshafts
  - stainless steel headers and dual exhaust with a lifetime warranty
  - Magnaflow high-flow dual catalytic converters
  - upgraded fuel system
  - new GM-built engine wiring harness and engine management
  - Flyin' Miata custom engine dyno tune for more power and improved drivability with our specific parts
  - OE-style motor mounts for good NVH control
  - custom air intake system with hot air baffle
  - rear mount Odyssey battery with kill switch and engine bay jump start terminal
  - Corvette C6 starter
  - fully functional stock gauges
  - FM sway bars front & rear with adjustable end links
  - Flyin' Miata FOX Racing suspension
  - ABS
  - FM front-only big brake kit
  - air conditioning
  - Hydraulic steering conversion
  - relocated washer bottle
  - many custom stainless brackets required for a clean installation
  - Flyin' Miata alignment

That pricelist is for a 2016 Miata? Not NA.
"We are now exclusively using the 2016+ cars as the basis for turn-key cars."
Who is dropping 55k usd to put a V8 in a 1990 Miata worth 3k.

The other downside to paying that much to put an LS into a Miata is if you go to sell it you realize you've lost most of your money and now you're selling to a tiny market. A Miata or Corvette on its own has a huge resale market, but very few of the people who like those would want this.
I'd also be curious what you can even use that car for. It's light with lots of power and small tires which seems great for burnouts but not much else.
