https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...972393800.html - 06 - Mazda 6 Wagon - 5speed - $1600 obo

richardmozis 09-06-2019 09:37 AM

It's not on craigslist but it is local and has the potential to be a good buy.
2005 BMW M3 6-speed manual, Competition pack, Interlagos Blue.
43,000km, 11-year ownership, no accidents.

Crazy to see this good of a spec with very low kms. A Canadian market car will lessen the interest from US buyers and maybe end up being a good purchase for someone locally.

Fuarrkk must resist...running out of parking spaces. Definitely keeping my eye on this one

68style 09-06-2019 05:44 PM

$23K USD with 5 days left it’s already too high for a reasonable purchase... and a weird amount of wear for such low mileage.

Maybe if it had 120k kms, this car only has 43k. Still a ways to go on price while still being a good buy. Someone recently sold an SMG version of this interlagos competition for 36k usd with similar kms.

As for the wear, nothing that can’t be fixed with a good detail.

jing 09-06-2019 06:02 PM

That is my MIL neighbour's car. The car is street parked whenever its insured. Not a DD, but never looked at it up close. Looks decent from across the street. Not garage kept year round like he claims.

Am aware, but it’s just not worth it north of $35k usd... not rare enough, not special enough, and so many better options.

You’d have to have 100% decided that this was your dream car since you were a kid for it to make sense.

These cars have gone up in value a lot recently. You might be thinking of regular m3s, interlagos competition cars are in a different league.

westopher 09-06-2019 06:29 PM

The 90k USD LSB e46 would beg to differ.
Depends on your definition of worth it though. People tend to pay 20% more for cars on BAT because they want to “win” an auction. In reality they just lost at shopping.

And now, the complete opposite of a BMW

twitchyzero 09-06-2019 08:01 PM

if i were looking at the m2 comp or 1m (thankfully i'm too poor to consider either), that e46 zcp would easily come out ahead

westopher 09-06-2019 08:04 PM

I wouldn't say easily for me, against the 1m. Thats a coin flip as I love both the e46 and the e82, but agreed 100% on the M2.
Its easy to justify big bucks for these old cars when you look at 110k fully optioned m4s and 100k ft-96s.....I mean supras.

TouringTeg 09-06-2019 09:44 PM

The 1M brings a big smile to my face every time I drive it.

I have never driven an E46 M3 but hope to one day. I will be watching the auction closely.

68style 09-06-2019 11:11 PM

Maybe it’s cuz I have spent significant time driving one and to me it’s just not that thrilling a car. I like the E36 better driving wise.

68style 09-07-2019 04:44 PM

That IS250 looks like a nightmare... no accidents (?) but lowered with weird offset on non factory wheels, centre stack sitting in the trunk and no exhaust tips under the rear bumper... badge missing on the trunk... buyer bewarrrrrre

2006 Honda Civic EX-L / 87,000 KM / Manual / $4,500

Note that the ad says the car has "New OEM suspension (shocks + struts)", which is very unusual for a low km car like this.

2004 Mazdaspeed miata - if you could snag this for a little less it would be a fantastic track toy or weekend toy. These are such a blast to drive

Note the ad says 87k on “engine” so the actual mileage is probably super high and they didn’t list it

Front bumper/right fender/passenger door seems like it is misaligned or unusual gap..... But still worth low balling maybe ?

Wasn't this Z3 posted few weeks back? With the dent on the door, for 4k or something?

1996 Z3 - $4350

That’s a huge dent, but might be a cheap fun car to put collector plates on in a couple of years.

twitchyzero 09-07-2019 11:20 PM

is250 rwd 6spd 'very good on gas'

18mpg city premium :denied: iirc also bog slow?

Agree. Those center stacks are known to go bad where the touch screen doesn't work (and this controls climate, navi, audio, phone, etc.) so could have been swapped out for that or ready to swap in. Just something extra to keep in mind
