Are all Mitsubishi transmission bad or just certain ones? All Lancer automatics regardless of trim?

Regular auto Lancers are cvt, this is sst dual clutch same unit as evos. So it will have dual clutch problems if it wasn't taken care of and fluids changed with the correct fluid. The correct sst fluid from mitsubishi I recall was $200 or 400 a bottle and you needed two.

Correct

Diaqueen or whatever it was called. same fluid as porsche PDK boxes... which made servicing expensive on fluid alone.

easy to DIY though.

the guy I bought mine from didnt know much about cars.. so I gambled on that as it was quite cheap. never again.

another item just like the evo X was the ACD pump going bad. they go bad just because they sit behind the right rear wheel and exposure to the outdoors they get seized easily.

Is that a large dent and potential rust on the trunk they are trying to avoid showing? No direct rear end shot either. Seems sus.

^ You aren't wrong, but for the price you'd think they would be a little more forward about it.

Ppl on CL are fucking assholes. They expect the moon for rock bottom dollar. ANY defect they start taking 25% off your asking price. Then they go into some sob story or how you should drop your price more cuz they have to ride a horse to your house for pickup.

You think selling stuff on CL is bad?

Just wait till you try giving away something for free. Never again. Shit's going straight into the dumpster next time.

Haha .. so true. Once or twice, I posted something for free cuz I just didn't want it to go to landfill and within minutes, my Inbox exploded, people wanting to come in 10 mins (while it is like 10:45 pm) and people yelling at you if you promised it to someone else tomorrow.

Some people just suck. I sold a very nice bunk bed for dirt cheap and the lady picking it up started looking around the neighbourhood, literally asked me how much my house was worth and said I didn’t need the money and should give it to her for free.

I lol’d and said she had two choices, either give me the money or go home. It was pretty quiet and awkward after that as we packed her van

Here an over priced 2015 BMW X1 35i M Sport in LeMans Blue

It says no accidents, but has a non-m steering wheel.

According to the vin decoder, it's supposed to be equipped with the M Sport steering wheel.

Damn, thats a good catch. I wonder why the Carfax shows no accidents though. Maybe previous owner crashed into something and had it fixed at a shady body shop?

Doesn't have to be a shady shop, not claiming and fixing yourself is your choice.

It also could be that the previous owner switched out to a non M sport wheel to gain a heated steering wheel. Heated steering wheel wasn't available on the M steering wheel.
