Probably a respray, check out the painted door latch striker. If it were clean, that a great price and just throw out the awful bumper |

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...471833818.html 06 Miata soft top GT with roll bar for $17k. Wasn't a deal 12 months ago but it's a good price nowadays. |
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...ok_story_share 04 Honda Civic SIR (EP3) with 85,000km in Electron Blue Pearl and has HPD kit for a solid price of .... $9,250. This is the best priced car I've seen in months! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6ad4025258.jpg |
Kinda crazy how a ep3 for 9k is a good price these days. I mean yea it's low milage but still prices on cars are at a all time high. |
i thought it was a joke post at first the more i think about it tho - even at 9k that's a good buy in today's market. Anything under 10k gets lumped together now. what a great daily that would be for years to come. prob hold a big chunk of that value too |
That's a lot of car for 9.5K. Clean EP3's are so rare. You won't hear this one coming, and thats fine. |
Not to mention that this EP3 is the 2004 facelifted unicorn model. There were a number of enhancements made to it over the 2001 - 2003 cars, with the most notable one being the switch from 4x100 hubs + crappy brakes to 5x114.3 + standard RSX brakes. |
Yea hate to say it but that's a decent price for low km well kept looking car. Isn't beat to shit and riced out. I recall ep3s were $3000 cars all day every day, now you can't even find a ek, dc2 or del sol for sale. :QQ: |
For reference, 9K is an enthusiast deal clapped out e36 m3 then can flipped within a week as 14k lol Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |

$9,800 - Original Owner BRG Miata with hardtop, 139k Pretty good deal given similar ones recently if it checks out. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...474631460.html |
Ugh... we really are at the point where we're trying to make something out of nothing in this thread :( Sucky time to be a car enthusiast looking for a fun project. |
This is very low priced... suspiciously low priced... I do not believe this is a factory colour combo though. There were never speakers from factory in the front kickpanels either, though I think Scott Drake or one of those Mustang reproduction companies made kickpanels to accommodate speakers in that location. Has some kind of aftermarket centre console in it with cupholders too. If you can get it up on a lift to take a peek at the torque boxes and they look sharp this thing is a fantastic deal. Either repaint the outside to a better matching colour or re-do the interior (vinyl recover kits for the seats on these are CHEAP). Has somewhat rare turn signals in the hood... might have front discs too need to see the pedal or up close of the front wheels. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...474649300.html |
A hidden gem might be the Cadillac ATS. I was toying with the idea of a Camaro with the 6-cyl or 2.0T as an auto-x or track car and I remembered that the ATS is on the same platform. Not going to go for the ATS-V but the lower trimmed cars. Thoughts? |
Too big and heavy for auto-cross... same things might kill it for track. Would need substantial brake and suspension upgrades if you were serious at all. Possible cooling issues on the 2.0T for track use. |

Just took a quick look on the car comparison tool on Edmunds and all 3 are within 100lbs and 6 inches length of each other. |
I was saying that about both of them haha.. ATS has nice weight distribution but I think you'd find it feels substantially bigger than it is... I don't think the E90 is a great autocross car either, it'a making up for a lot of things with its engine. Also for autocross you mod anything and you're classing yourself out into going for raw times. Better track car than autocross for sure. The BMW 3.5TT engine has massive cooling issues on track, needs a lot of mods to not go into limp mode. |
I wouldn’t get the 335i anyways, I’d get the NA engine for reliability. I’m not here to be the fastest (because I’m not) but to get better lol. EDIT: Maybe I go look for a 128i instead… hmm |
