That guy is hilarious. Wealthy people dont overpay for shit. That's just smart spending and they got tons of time to wait. People who think they are rich will overspend because they can't control their emotions.

looks like a lot of cars are starting to sit on the market longer and some price cuts on autotrader. Hopefully a sign that things are going back to normal

Hard to say from the pics.

Appearance is All e55 for sure including the exhaust

Didn’t see the seats and brakes. Those weren’t well detailed on the pictures.

Either it’s a higher than average priced e550, or a bargain e55, someone bought it (or a fake troll ad)

It was not an E55, rather just an e500 with an AMG badge and E55 wheels and exhaust.

You could tell by the regular e500 brakes and the interior.

Couldn't see the brakes or seats in that post! :suspicious:

But explains why a "e55" is sub 10k... Maybe a 210, but never seen a 211 at sub 10 mark.

Yea I don't get the pricing on those slk/clk. E55, cls55, cl55 even some early e63s can be had for low 20s. And those have more features. :okay:

I got a guy that paid almost 50k for his late model SLK55.... jeez.


I do remember the thing should be collector plate eligible real soon, since MB Canada stated that there were less than 60 brought in for that year.

Been casually looking for a CLK55/63 for awhile now. Don't care all too much for a droptop unfortunately although I think they are harder to find.
