Nevermind the trade-in amount on Black Book is $6,500 for it lol, hope he didn't let it go for that cuz ouch

SSM_DC5 01-11-2024 02:03 PM

Of course he didn't, it went for lower! I would be surprised if a dealer paid anyone over book value for an econobox. Not talking about trade in value. Straight up cash purchase off the old guy.

teggy604 01-11-2024 02:07 PM

My friend had one of those Elantra. Engine died and had to put a new one in. Luckily it was under warranty.

jcmaz 01-11-2024 02:16 PM

I remember talking to my folks about those Elantra wagons. 10k brand new with manual transmission or a new coffee coloured Fiat 500. Told them no thanks

noclue 01-11-2024 02:23 PM

you can get a leftover 2023 elantra for like 5k more with full warranty. and it's not like an elantra has nostalgic value lol

68style 01-11-2024 02:29 PM

^ No way... you gotta go up to $31k+ to get the same features on a new one like-for-like... ie: leather

Badhobz 01-11-2024 03:04 PM

Im proud of dark!
To hit big numbers last year selling god damn Hyundais shows that

1) he's king shit of selling cars
2) most people arent bias assholes like us who look down upon hyundais
3) they probably make good cars. That g80 really blew my mind for bang to buck ratio

that being said, id still never buy one:badpokerface:

jcmaz 01-11-2024 03:15 PM

More like folks went to Toyota and Honda and were disgusted by high interest rates and lack of available cars to buy.

I had one guy back in the day decided to get a Sorrento over a Highlander

Tapioca 01-11-2024 09:40 PM

People here would rather spend 17K on an E82 that has 200K+ and needs 10K in work.

Do I get in trouble for my own post?

90+ gentlemen came in to sell us his car, he said he is just too old to drive.

Time capsule ~~
One owner
No accidents
only 25,867KM

2013 Elantra Sedan
Limited (top trim)
Heated leather seats
Sunroof
Bluetooth

I will say fair price considering market, $17,470 out the door including all fees and taxes.

Definitely will give you trouble free ownership for quite a while.

For some kid's first car? Or just a beater/additional car for a big family?

Good on gas and insurance.

That low KMs lolol, I had to do a double take yesterday during appraisal yesterday.

J.

Nothing against this ad, but this is a 10+ year old design. Hyundai and Kia always coming out with these edgy designs but they all look like ass cheese a few years later.

dark0821 01-12-2024 08:50 AM

lolol, oh no I have been brainwashed~~ but thanks for the smack back to reality.

The reason I thought it was a good price is cuz the other crap we have been selling for more

Currrently on sale
2016 Golf base with 156K KM + accidents for the same price
2015 Fit base with 75K KM for more, but no accidents though XD

We sold
2015 Versa note at 110K KM for the same price
2012 Prius C with accidents at 190 K KM for 16K
2006 Base accord with 90K KM for 12K

It's not like we price our cars high compared to the rest of the Automall, to actually find a decent shape car with no miles that I know wont be troublesome to the new owner, I think its a decent buy at the mall~~

But yes you are not wrong, you can walk out of the dealership with a brand new 2024 Venue (albiet base model, still heated seats, wireless android auto/carplay/back up camera with a 5 year 100,000K warranty) for $26,409 out the door including all fees and taxes. (which I might add its the 2nd cheapest new car you can get at the mall, 1st being the Mitsu Mirage)

So lol~~

Its the other way around man lolol

Hey Dark - wait time on Ioniq 5? There discounts?

Toyota across the streeet - brand new Bz4X with like $8K discount and no wait, and have all color combos avail

Client knows the Ioniq is a superior car, but it is not a $15K superior car lolol

I still can't believe I bought one. Counting down to when I'll swap it out :ilied:

68style 01-12-2024 09:34 AM

K swap it out?

Sorry... couldn't resist lol

dark0821 01-12-2024 09:36 AM

Sorry, wanted to add in

2016 Golf base with 156K KM + accidents for the same price lolol

Gerbs, your 22 N is probably holding value just fine, no one who has bought a Kona/Elantra N from me has had any regrets lololol

Gerbs 01-12-2024 09:45 AM

Are trade-values on them favourable still?

I got offered $38.5K+Tax last year for a used Tesla M3 during peak market. Nowadays probably $33ish?

jaaagman 01-12-2024 05:28 PM

Not sure if its a good deal, but it certainly is rare. I probably shouldn't ask, but are these reliable? I really dig this.

9000!!! Holy fuck for a 2015 car that’s insane.

westopher 01-12-2024 06:30 PM

Honestly that seems like 150% of what it should cost. Beautiful car though. Those astons are incredible.

GS8 01-12-2024 06:49 PM

Because I'm an old man, I'd rather have this for close money (seller says 'make an offer'). Yes there's an age difference but I've always had a hard on for these. V12 and man tran.
