Only gripe is it's a bottom plate. My home lift is a Revolution, same exact pump as the Rotary at work, more affordable, better arms, cheaper accessories.

it was advertised as frozen black, clearly asked if it was frozen black and not a wrap. 3 hour and $250 commute later.... not factory frozen black, but it was SBM with a satin clear coat

I don't know if it's a good buy or not but the ad is great: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8925612744728/ Quote:

if you're looking for an E60, this is the one. seriously.
as a matter of fact, i'm so serious that i don't even want to sell it, but here we are. i have a daughter who doesn't like it, a wife who doesn't like it and a son who, if he gets his hands on it, is going to wrap it around a telephone pole or put it through that fence and NW Marine Dr and W4th. You know the one.
this car was ordered from the factory by the VP of BMW Canada and delivered to North Vancouver BMW. It lived on the north shore until it was scooped out from under me 5 years ago. some guy bought it the day before i was going to go see it. a year later i bought it off him (his wife was convinced they needed an mini van).
this car is alpine white exterior with the rare triple black interior. triple black?
black leather
piano black trim
black headliner
yes black headliner.
if you know anything about BMW of this era you'll know how rare that is.
seats are 18-way adjustable, from that generation's 7 series.
heated front and rear seats.
157,000km. that's less than 10k per year.
this car has been meticulously maintained. it DOES NOT leak fluids. it does NOT need any work. the valve stem seals have been done (proactively). the coolant transfer pipe has been done (proactively). the oil filter housing gasket has been done (proactively). this car has been owned and maintained by enthusiasts since the day it was born.
the manual says you can expect the N62 to "consume" 1L of oil per 1000km but this car doesn't. you could say it's better than new.
original M Sport wheels, continental DSW on all four corners. front we're done this spring, rears less than 5k ago, brakes on all four corners done then as well (akebono low dust pads and zimmermann rotors). and a new battery in fall 2023 (genuine BMW AGM battery)
M Sport door sills, M Sport suspension, M Sport steering wheel. M Sport front & rear bumpers
the only mod is Lux Angel Eyes in amber. i just had to.
if i had a garage i'd keep it forever. this car makes me so happy. i love driving it. i love looking at it. i live in downtown vancouver, i have one parking spot and my family is conspiring against me. help.
360 something horsepower from a naturally aspirated, very healthy N62B48TU. this is a 4.8L V8. rear wheel drive.
shifts nice and strong, hauls ass. drives amazing. incredible stock acoustics (tuned by a sound tech)
the ONLY issue is the steering position sensor. it threw the warning 2 years ago, i called my guy and he said its no harm to drive it. it can be deleted/overridden, fixed or left alone. if you pay asking price i'll pay for it to get done.
i have ONLY ever used Liqui Moly and Mann oil filters, i've only used 91. i drive it a few thousand km per year. in 2023 i drove it less than 500.
asking $12,500

Yes that's a sane price for today's market. Here's another good one that's got a long line of buyers. I know cuz I asked to join the queue but I was too late. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details...dId=1697617142 |

NA'S were all 5 speeds, and the final gear for the 6 speed NB is the same. Plus, it looks like there's an AC button on the controls. Hardtop alone is worth $2500.
I also don't believe a non-leaking BMW exists.

That said, I see his FB Marketplace rating is a stellar 2.5/5.

Gotcha. On the NA post, it says "It has a matching "British Racing Green" hard top" in the description.
(just teasing - now I know why I get people asking me questions about my ads when I've already answered the question in the ad )

I'm fine with gray, I just don't like black leather or all black everything interiors.
Lexus 3G IS wine red interior was beautiful. It wasn't a scream in your face Type R red, but a rich dark burgundy.
I sound like an old man.

high mileage, probably not a good respray job, hard to see from the pics but last pic shows a sand spot. but cheap tho
oh, interior looks really decent
