Without the recaros I'd say pass on it. The csl seats were probably a huge part of your love for that car. Tack 5k onto your purchase price if you bought it back.

Also has RX8 wheels instead of the Speed6 ones, wonder where those went? I've always had a thing for this car, seems like there's a lot of rearend issues and test driving them several times I hate how the boost doesn't recirculate, it vents to atmosphere on every shift and has to respool unlike my MR2 Turbo so if you're gunning it, it's a pretty rough ride on the up shifts... Never mind how weird the clutch feels. I still love this car tho.

What's so special about 1M again? compared to let's say M3?

Only produced for one year. Collector car status. Kinda like the modern E30 M3 being small and nimble yet powerful. I would love to buy that but it creeps into "better car" territory. It's the collector value that interests me although they are pretty neat cars.

Drive one and you'd know :megusta: Despite sharing under pinnings with the E92 M3... . it just feels so much more nimbler and hectic.

So does this have the same failings as any other twin turbo n54 motor? If so I'd be pretty frightened of it

11' N54's are shared between the 1M, 335is and Z4 sdrive35is. more robust than the 07-08 ones that popped.
