10k less... :ilied:

Anyone know about this one? It's been for sale for almost two weeks being the cheapest one around. Its mileage isn't high either.

I went and saw it, test drove it. Guy had it for 6 years, brand new tires, just needs some small things like AC recharge and serpentine belt replaced from what I remember. It is in good shape, clutch was kinda soft I'm guessing it's never been done. Also the front bumper cover was replaced after a small fender bender, that's why it's got a type r lip and not A spec. Rear bumper had an aspec lip but it must have fell off or gotten stolen

did you mean you went to see the car in person, or just the ad? just wondering how well the car was repaired.

My brother chased it for awhile, we were ready to go get it in the summer - after hounding for pics the guy finally admitted he replaced a bunch of front end parts out of pocket.

Clean title maybe, but not a clean car - and the guy was shady about it.

Don't know why - for the price, he should just tell the story.

bragging rights 15 years down the road...

"yo dawg, only 47 made for that year, individual composition, individual interior"

only these cars came with the body color stitching and striped interior, M3 GTS door sill pieces, slightly different mirror color variation, gloss black detail parts etc.

Assuming no claims or accidents, its a pretty sound deal.

@jasonturbo.. where are you...... time to get an E92 to put away in your barn.

God this is why I love BMW. They are so good at marketing the shit out of this kind of stuff haha. From "Extended Leather" in the 80's to 'GTS' door sill pieces in the 00's...

BUY THE RED STITCHING PACKAGE ONLY 14 MADE IN THE UPPER HEMISPHERE.

Thats not an m5.
The one posted at auto form is honestly a steal. Being individual and reasonably low milage for the year (especially compared to the american market cars) it will literally never drop in price as long as you own it.

Always loved E39. I can never convince myself to buy it due to potential massive maintenance cos.

with the negative slide in the oilsands industry can we expect to see a lot of high end alberta registered vehicles hitting the marketplace, if not already?

This may be my only chance of snagging up a 911TT or GT3.
But most likely, cars like those are going to be snapped up by the US. :okay:
