How can he be the first owner when the car has a rebuilt title lol...
Unless he crashed it and bought it out himself and rebuilt it. Usually not the case

Not failing for posting his own car, but failed for a grown man using "Wakkkaakka" to emphasize how attractive his ad/sale item is :rukidding:

A 2011 should have been sold in 2010 or 2011, if this guy bought it in 2012 maybe it was damaged during shipping or on a test drive while still under the dealers ownership and then rebuilt before being sold to the "first" owner?

I don't think it's too loud, sadly it's auto so wouldn't be as fun

Going to Victoria tomorrow, hopefully I have time to see this thing.. seems to good to be true

Did you get a chance to check it out in the end?

On another note, I'm not too familiar with VWs but what do you guys think about this 1.8t GTI? Looks clean but how desirable is the 20th anniversary edition? Priced a little high for what it needs?

I am the 3rd owner of the car. I've taken good care of it since purchasing it in spring of 2013. I had a minor incident where the rear bumper was hit by another vehicle while parked downtown on Burrard St., but it was restored to original condition by Grand Performance Automotive, an authorized ICBC body shop. The original timing belt was changed by the first owner, but will need to be replaced for the second time in the near future along with the tensioner. The Recaro seats are in good condition, with the exception of a separation in the stitching on a small section of the driver side shoulder area.

I recently had a new front driver side axle, tie rod and bearings installed. The old axle had been causing uneven wear on the inside wall of the front driver side tire, so a replacement is required. The current set of four Hanook All-Season Sport Tires were purchased October 2014, so only the affected tire is of concern. The other three are in good condition and still have a fair amount of tread. The clutch is in excellent condition and feels great, as well as the brakes. All of the electronic functions (i.e. power windows, locks, sunroof, etc.) are in perfect working order, and a new battery has just been installed as of last week.

FYI to the people randomly failing me NO I am not the owner of the EVO as I have been told by a member that some of you seem to think so.

But please continue to fail away.

Unfortunately I didn't have time because he was pretty far from me, seems like he knows what he's talking about though. If I didn't go for my GF'S convocation I would have been able to make it. But he told me everything was installed to be sleeper, black exhaust and stuff. Sounds like a good deal for someone

He originally listed that car as a "clean" title until someone saw the car and made an ad on craiglist to avoid the car. The car had a rebuilt title and was no where near the condition it looked like in the photos. The guy selling it changed his ads to a rebuilt title, but I think because it still hasn't sold he's making new ads with the car as a clean title.

Don't take my word for it though, I haven't seen the car myself or anything. I'm just going off what an angry person was ranting about.
