You can leverage your car for a loan or perhaps a mechanics lien for an unpaid bill. I agree that it's hilarious dirtbag shit and the car is worth nothing but for a lender it's better than nothing.

Ex out of province car.
Oil leaks everywhere. Vtec solenoid and oil pan.
Slight rust from shoddy body work under the gas cap
May need a new clutch soon as the friction point is high.

I'd say $2K tops but would rather pay a little more for a car that needs less work.
