04 had the 3.5 L engine.
the 02 had the 3.0L engine.
i had to replace electronic engine mounts, ecu, and alot of MAF sensors.

In 2002, the engine was replaced for the whole lineup with a 3.5 L VQ35DE that produced 255 hp (190 kW) and 246 lb·ft (334 N·m) of torque. In addition, the model got a slight refresh with a larger grille opening, headlamps with high-intensity discharge (HID) low beams, a six-speed manual transmission with optional helical Torsen limited-slip differential borrowed from the Japan market Nissan Skyline GT-R, revised 17 inch six-spoke wheels on the SE models, new 17 inch seven spoke wheels on the GLE models, clear taillights, and some interior and exterior refinements over the 2000 to 2001 models.

Nice car, great specs all around. Interesting to see if he gets close to that price...wish Chasers sold for that much, don't think they do.

looks to be a special edition... someone remind me what that was again back then? was it an RS with extra options?

thumper 01-27-2016 08:47 PM

i have nothing to do with this sale but i saw it on nasioc and thought someone might like a mechanic's special: 2000 subaru impreza RS

FS: (For Sale) My00 Gc8 (gc6) Rs - NASIOC

owner hasn't been able to sell because of said issues... i don't want to see it get scrapped because i have a soft spot for these and they are starting to get rare :o

1997 means it's probably the anniversary edition.
Different alloy wheels, spoiler, it might have a sunroof and it's got AC
Basically you're right about it being an RS with some added options

Dude...6mt vs Automatic. Can't compare

But on that note, I bought a G35 2003 6mt with 118k for 5500 a year ago, but that was a hell of a deal. i think @ 6000 that's an ok buy. As long as it doesn't exhibit the infamous head gasket leak

then yes. that's uber rare.

Lowered_Klass 01-28-2016 11:21 AM

^ I suppose not...

However, finding a manual Accord that isn't a V6 coupe can be tricky.

*edit: Tofu ninja posted before me lol

V6 manual is rare, but I think having a stick on the EX-L trim level is even more rare as I believe they stopped offering a stick on the EX-L shortly after.

2006 Acura RSX Type S

EDIT: rebuilt title. It was listed as clean when I first posted it.

v6 ex-l sedan is it.

that link is a 4 banger, cause the v6 came with the 6spd from the coupes, super quick back then.
