Needs new paint on front bumper but sounds to be in decent shape. Get your summer in!

That was a good deal. Sold an hour ago! 24 hours online and someone scored a deal!

FOR SALE: Time Capsule BMW M3 16k original miles - 6speedonline.com Forums

MindBomber 07-31-2014 08:03 PM

37.5k for an E36 M3.

The seller is a little too optimistic with that price.

LP700-4 07-31-2014 08:47 PM

All of the age with none of the mileage

Part of me thinks cars are worse off sitting long periods of time. Part of me likes low mileage cars for resale

radioman 07-31-2014 08:58 PM

Guy has a lot of red toys. Maybe he's spreading the mileage around :)

I'm among the largest of e36 fanbois, and I can tell you a 95 (the least desirable year) with ebay headlights and chromed oem wheels really doesn't get my motor running. If you put that car next to my e36 and were asking 14k for both of them I would have chosen mine as well as a multitude of the nice e36s locally. You can buy an e36 m3 LTW, or M3 gt for that price, or 2 perfect condition euro e36 m3 evos.

kwy 08-01-2014 12:40 AM

That's high even if it was a minty E30 M3..

Pretty average for a mint e30 m3. They go from 35k to 45k.

StanleyR 08-01-2014 06:26 AM

*still kicking myself for not buying one 13 years ago for only 15-18g's*

It seems that they are going for even more now: $58k!
Pristine 69k-Mile 1990 BMW M3 | Bring a Trailer

MindBomber 08-01-2014 11:16 AM

I've been reading bringatrailer for years.

I highly recommend giving it a read if you haven't.

The concept of it is similar to this thread but curated to increase the caliber of posts.

For example, its front page currently features a number of pre-war BMWs, a Lotus Elan, a pre-war Bentley, a Jaguar E-Type, and a restored FJ40.

westopher 08-01-2014 11:18 AM

The person who paid the 58k for that is genuinely retarded. They can be found with that milage in desirable colours for low to mid 40s almost any week of the year.

hud 91gt 08-01-2014 11:49 AM

bring a trailer is never a good deal. It brings are the interested parties to one easily accessible spot.
