Whats the story with the mirrors? I have heard of people swapping them out because they can't see enough out of the M3 mirrors, but still raises eyebrows.

As though I would consider a 760li when entering "2500" (for a 3/4 ton truck) into the search bar.

I find it's usually dealers, and when CL results are flooded with these I simply choose personal ads only. But agreed, it's a pain in the neck.

Dave, you've likely seen this post, but in case you haven't, this sellers VWs might interest you. I'm curious about the 73-87 c10 in the background.

What's the catch on this NSX? Seems like a great deal. Says not a rebuild but there must be more to the story. Theft recovery?

220,000kms.

Interior shows it.

Would make a good project.

flagella 08-25-2014 08:47 PM

Ya, mileage is pretty high up there.

ya this car is fully loaded too with front and rear sensors which is rare!
too bad its the pre-facelift tho, bumper design, tail lights, no triptronic, steering wheel, and instrument cluster doesnt look as updated as the face-lifted one.

Nonetheless the mileage is super super low with rare two-tone interior too

Nah, RSX-S would be better. Around the same price range. the lack of a high lift cam on that K20 really suck. Although EP3 are more rare, but I think it was only because it wasn't as popular

tofu1413 08-26-2014 01:17 PM

wow... the nsx looks like a great deal for a daily driver.

multicartual 08-26-2014 02:19 PM

Lost the link but there's a monster Miata for sale in Calgary!!!

That NSX looks well cared for, even the seats are in better shape than most old leather. The KM wouldn't worry me much, it is a Honda after all.

Had no idea a good condition RSX-S went for similar price.

Seems like a decently priced car given the mileage and it being a Canadian car, unless there's some undisclosed history with the car. I've heard crappy stories about Lucky 8 autos though. The buyer needs to do his due diligence.

Cars been floating around for months. When I seen it in April, the drivers rocker panel was pushed in, moisture in tail light, previous front end repair, almost every panel repainted. Car drove fine so I worked a deal at 11k. When they detailed for delivery, they pulled back into lot and broke the lip off the bumper. That was enough for me, I walked. As u can see, bad re spray on front bumper masking lines, and no more lip.

flagella 08-26-2014 07:20 PM

Well, in those pictures the lip (amuse or replica) is molded into AP1 front bumper.

Either way, my friend and I didn't get to see it in person as they were sitting in their warehouse, so couldn't inspect it in person. We did see the reports and there were $20k front end damage. Wasn't a write-off since it was done back in 2003 when the car was valued at $50k.

Thanks for the info though, saved us a lot of time.
