Hence why I might YOLO my RRSPs for it.
The way the world is going none of us on here are going to live to retirement age anyways.

I looked at the car today and it runs/drives great! It does have some imperfections on the rear bumper paint but otherwise I could not find any note worthy faults with the car and in my opinion it's a good buy. I was pretty much ready to take it home however the family did bring up some points about where the money should be put towards instead...

Seller is a stand up dude, hopefully this car goes to a fellow enthusiast!

I drove by you during test drive near UBC? Grey E90 M3

Alternatively, if this post gets enough thanks I'll buy it.

jasonturbo 04-09-2017 08:08 PM

It's already sold.

Yup! Where did you see us exactly? I was so focused on the E36 itself and the road directly ahead so I must've missed spotting your car lol

TouringTeg 04-09-2017 08:24 PM

Damn. Sunday M3 craziness. I am actually surprised the Dakar yellow E36 M3 is still available. I would have grabbed it if I didn't have my Supra.

Was the E30 M3 115kms or miles? They mentioned miles a few times in their ad.

In before a dealer lists the car for sale for more.

westopher 04-09-2017 08:28 PM

Its probably going to end up at miles end or something of the sort for 80k.

jasonturbo 04-09-2017 08:31 PM

for sure that car is being resold on BaT in a week.

SkunkWorks 04-09-2017 08:31 PM

Seems it is more like 115k miles.

Even then, $48k CAD is only ~$36k USD. Given recent BaT auctions, that's really not bad at all assuming original paint and no smashes.

... But fuck that ad, reminds me I need euroweaves.

TouringTeg 04-09-2017 08:37 PM

Angry reply regarding the 91 240SX $2500 -> $5800 flip lol

https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/rds/cto/6081024854.html

"This EXACT same car was listed at $2500 from Maple Ridge and sold just 3 days ago, suddenly some guy thinks he is going to sell it for MORE than double within 3 days without doing ANY work on it? DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CURBERS AND FLIPPERS!!!!!!!!!"

westopher 04-09-2017 08:40 PM

Car flippers are pieces of shit though. Not worth making a CL ad over though haha.

Lol pshh of course not, I obviously straight traded my GTR and the name of my firstborn for this car :D seemed like a good trade.

The s2000 market is like vancouver housing, the one who bought in early are seeing the price skyrocket and the ones who are late and want to play, have to pay a premium.

edit: Heres a pic of the Japanese sushi knife and cleaver, one is for precision and one is just for destroying things haha

Sort of interested in that manual audi a5

Anybody know how reliable these cars are?

my vw/audi stuff is fading fast from my memory... someone remind me again when the MMI was upgraded for audi? 2009? or was it 2010? all i recall is that the pre-revision MMI was a bit of a headache. also i'm not sure if the v6 has the same carbon buildup issues because of fsi? but it was audi certified when bought... dosen't say how much mileage was covered between then and now.
