Well that is interesting! Was thinking about importing an Audi S3 from Japan as the next winter ride but that could be an interesting candidate. I wonder if the auction prices on the R32's will jump as soon as they're importable to Canada? Quote:

Asking because original post is now gone but plenty of examples pop up here and there and they're not asking for much. | The AWD angle gear usually goes around 200K km mark, then you can remove driveshaft and use it as FWD or replace the thing for >$800-$1000. In previous winters, here in Vancouver, a FWD V70 with snow tires does quite well ... better than an AWD with A/S ... but then this winter with snowmaggeden hits. The FWD comes in 2.4 (168hp), 2.5T (200hp) or 2.3L T5 (235 hp) and the T5 is the rare one, pretty preppy and responsive, actually rarely do I see one posted for sale.
As for what is good mileage, no different than any other car, anything less than 15K per year is pretty good to me. That one was 155K for a 17 year old car, pretty low in my books.
