+1. I get quite a bit more lowend and midrange torque on 91.
I wonder how long it takes to recognize, I've seen claims of 500 miles on one forum.

I'd imagine at least the range of one tank. If you switch from 87 to 91 when the gauge reads 1/4 then you've really got ~1/3 tank of 87 and 2/3 tank 91. Once mixed that's about 89.7 octane, but if you were using crappy fuel probably less than that. Run it down and fill it up again and now you should be around 91 octane.

Now if you filled it with 94 from 1/4 the first time you'll have a tank of ~91. Once you've used up the 87 still in the fuel lines the ECU should pick up on the higher octane much quicker.

If that 86 was white it would be worth $10k+...

But seriously, its a nice car and looks to be in good condition. Just my opinion but that colour choice is not helping the sale or price point, but for sure, to each their own.

If I had available funds I'd go look for sure. Spent the last two weeks driving around in a GTS (bone stock) and it's great! Could only imagine a modified one

pretty reasonable deal for the 86 considering the man hours to make it look like that.

20v motor at full song is just

this car is pretty much the same as a 240z when it comes to street presence. just too cool.

If that's your line of thinking then you're not the target market for this car, so of course the price won't sound good to you.

hatch has been swapped for sure from a regular celica GT (or the emblems have been swapped which i doubt)

Thats a surprisingly ok looking example. will be a nice summer cruiser with a nice set of wheels and lowering.

Selling my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. This is a running driving car, and is currently insured and driven. This car is a real head turner, and has a classic look . With black paint, lots of chrome, and red interior, this is a beautiful car. This car comes with a box full of extra chrome pieces, and a car cover. This car could use some TLC but is a great ride. This car has a stock 390 4 barrel. Please contact Roger at show contact info
$3750
Same guy is now selling a barn find convertible for pretty cheap.

Ad is misleading though because RS has no vtec unless the engine was swapped.
