tofu1413 03-07-2018 12:26 PM

I failed to realise exactly how awesome a 6-6 is, aside from it's rarity.

According to wiki and C&D, the J30A4 in the 2003-2005 Honda Accord V6s came with 242hp, 212ft-lb, 10:1 compression ratio, 3-Stage VTEC, effectively making it a faster coupe than my 330ci, with 0-60 at 5.9secs (330ci is 6.4 sec).

Obviously specs are just a point of reference and doesn't address other factors like NVH (if you can find that in an old car, i know i can't), real-world application, and gearing.

Sent him an email. Let's see :concentrate:

He said he's recently changed the clutch/flywheel but needs master/slave cylinder changed.... strange... :drunk:
It is uninsured and currently not running... So he said he'll let it go for $2200 as is. Could have more problems but I don't have the time to meet him at his place in Kits

Emailed him and he said there are some minor dents on the rear bumper and the plastic rain guard on the driver side is slightly broken which are very minor problems for a car like this. Its awfully cheap for the amount of car your getting lol.

Not sure if this is real but I do have a spot soft (and a hard on for these).

I remember these used to sell for mid to upper 30s about 15 years ago so it's not too bad of a price even when adjusted for inflation.

Absolutely beautiful car. Timeless.

The Producer 03-07-2018 08:30 PM

rookie sales move - should've included the waterfall.

RS raffle. 12 of is toss in 5k each. 1 in 12 chance to have a Ferrari in the garage.

tofu1413 03-07-2018 08:41 PM

I'd legitimately throw in 5k to have a 328 a month a year. (I know thats not the raffle, just adding in what tofu said and using your math.) That math totally adds up. You'd need to keep it for 12 years so everyone had times in the best and worst months, when its all over, even with all the miles you could probably double your money and have had a ferrari for the last 12 years.

Interesting to see that a West / North Van address is required. Why would that matter at all?

On a different note, I remember reading in the newspaper that dealerships and especially manufacturers hate this kind of private transfer / export type of thing, but they are kind of powerless against since it is just a matter of private property transactions. What some dealerships / manufacturers will do is, should they find out that the buyer is really just a front for the gray market exporter, they will blacklist the buyer from future purchases. When it is coming from the manufacturer level, you have pretty much just GG-ed yourself if you every hope to buy a new car from this manufacturer again.

I’d have a hell of a time trying to explain how someone like myself making middle class white money has purchased 3 x5m, 5 glc63, 2 g wagons and 6 raptors in one year to revenue canada
