this car is sitting at TS Auto in Richmond. I've seen it in person, and it needs sorting out to be in any sort of running condition but most of the major stuff is there. It's been a WIP for awhile, but the owner has moved on to other interests and wants to let it go complete.

Do you know what the mileage is on the chassis?

I've done a manual transmission conversion before (not on a Porsche but on a Prelude) and although very successful and relatively easy to do, I would not go through it again. So much easier to just buy a manual car straight up.

No I think that is just a greyish black finish on the wood (fake wood?) trim. I’ve seen that color trim on those cars before.

Looking at the child seat in the back, I’d be more worried about juice boxes and bottles leaked all over the carpets and goldfish cracker crumbs ground into every crevice. But whatever, for that price, take it in and pay to have a detailer deal with all that crap. If mechanically sound that is one of the better CL good buys posted up in a while.

very nice specimen at a very reasonable asking price.

$2800 bottom line. Guys story checks out. Mileage is on point. Second owner. Tear in drivers seat. LF window may need track alignment - has trouble going down sometimes, goes up, no problem.

I'd go buy it right now but no need for such a car and I'm trying to thin the herd as it is.
