Not sure if the price constitutes a "good" buy.
But a very clean looking unit

That's a good buy. CRX with a clean title and spotless rust free quarter panels. That is a rare sight. Clean mods, panels and body lines are super straight. If I were in the market for a CRX that would be the one i'd go see. You could buy one of the cheap beat up ones and you'd be spending a hell of a lot more money and time just trying to get it to half as clean as that one.

I know these things are horribly slow. Are they at least decent to drive? (as in handling and such)

2006 TSX 6sp for $3500. 306k KM. Condition looks pretty good for that kind of mileage. New clutch.

tofu1413 12-01-2018 09:36 PM

I think that’s a stillen style bumper vent on the 350z. More of a functional ram air piece than for aesthetics

Very true. The last crx i had i probably spent about that much on restoration. So many places these guys like to build rust.
And it still wasn't the same as original of course.
Judging by the shot of the undercarriage, probably original quarters on this one too

love how lightweight the cr-x is and that body style is nostalgia
too bad we never got vtec in them...i know how hard clean ones are to come by but for the money a GS-R is a better buy imo
still, no doubt that should be on the shortlist for someone looking for traditional fun Hondas that isn't a motorcycle

Good price for a nice spec if it all checks out. Mystic blue on m-texture seats and facelift is a desirable spec.

Just so everyone looking at this knows, all E46 M3's have the potential of the subframe cracking. Not sure why this guy says the 2004.5 doesnt suffer from it. (nothing changed in 2004.5, only 2003.5) It may have had foam injected in it through recall, maybe.. but definitely check the floor for cracks.

Yes, all E46 M3s can potentially crack. However, the foam injection and extra spot welds were added for October 2004 build (2005 model year). Cars after this are less likely to crack but still do in some rare cases.

The car that this guy is selling is 2004 so get it inspected (as you would any e46). Still a good car even if it has a crack, negotiate on price if it does.

Simplex123 12-02-2018 11:40 PM

^ Mine was foam injected from recall and still cracked

tegra7 12-03-2018 12:55 AM

I’m willing to bet there’s a big accident Claim on the m3 that I posted. Seller doesn’t mention anything about accident history, other than clean title.doesnt mention anything about the sub frame being re In forced either. Definately a car that you would want to get inspected.

Don't know much about Audi's, but this seems decent and really clean for the price.

Pretty sure that's my neighbour's car /\
It's true, it hardly ever leaves the parkade!

As for the rest posted in the ad (reliability, never seen snow etc), that's anybody's guess.

whitev70r 12-03-2018 06:13 PM

If you're interested in the Audi TT, here is another option, three x's the mileage, 1/2 the price.

2008 Audi TT, >145K miles, roadster, not S-line though, $9000

I love it! I've always liked the "bitch-basket" Golf cabs.

That is a good price, good colour combo, just needs some period correct wheels.

TT's are reliable as a Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic.
What's with these comparisons this past while... :lawl:
