Didn't Kesler say something of I didn't ask for a trade. I paid for my kid's school tuition already. etc etc... at last year's post season interviews?

Yes.yes he did.
Who knows what the real reason on why he wanted out. But I'm OK with using family as an excuse...sorta

im pretty sure he dangled the pylons you call canuck defense a few times in the pre-season games too :fullofwin:

Jmac 03-06-2015 03:01 PM

Pre-season superstar that scored 0 goals in 3 pre-season games and aggravated a pre-existing injury to the point where he missed 5 months.

Also, the Canucks won both pre-season games, not that it matters since it's fucking pre-season.

I don't get ur logic. A young 18 year old with a shoulder injury, who has never played in the nhl, turned nhl players into pylons. I consider that pretty impressive even though he didn't score.

Canucks did win yes, does that make one player less impressive. (Not comparing him to Sidney Crosby talentwise), but does the fact that Sidney crosby doesn't score in a game, but plays extremely well, make him any less impressive.

I merely stated that he looked very good, with a major injury, against nhl players. Unfortunately it was ur team he look very impressive against.

Tim Budong 03-06-2015 04:09 PM

This rap battle of both sides spittin hot fire is why I want the Canucks/Flames playoff series to happen...

Gonna be gold when the Canucks get to put the flames back on their asses.

I'll just leave this here...

How Screwed are the Flames without Giordano

https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nh...212535389.html

Mike Oxbig 03-06-2015 04:55 PM

TJ brodie is the anchor on the flames D which allows Giordano to pitch in offensively.

Therefore, they arent screwed if the young guns keep the red lamp lit up

spoon.ek9 03-06-2015 06:30 PM

On a side note, I'm enjoying how alive this thread is again. Canucks must be doing something right to have us all back in here once more.

XplicitLuder 03-06-2015 06:32 PM

I say the Canucks are making the playoffs. We'll see playoff hockey in April!

-will not write off this team yet because we are missing key elements of our defensive core. A healthy Tanev and Bieksa will improve our defensive zone break outs.

Tanev helps Edler quite a bit with his smart decision making in making outlet passes, moving the puck to the forwards. If Tanev recovers from his concussion and Bieksa is healthy then things will get better for the team.

-cannot stand Sbisa, pizza man giving away the puck in our zone. The leaning tower of "Pizza" has to play with his head straight! FailFish

EuterVanWasser 03-06-2015 07:18 PM

Sbisa imo.. NHL size, AHL decisions.

sometimes... AHL decisions are pushing it at times...
More so on the amateur/common sense thing for some of his decisions with the puck

Not really racist! 03-06-2015 07:41 PM

Sbisa pre-injury bug: plays average, but questionable at times - gets shit on
Sbisa during injury-bug: plays great, arguably second best after Hammer for a good string of games - gets no recognition
Sbisa has a few bad games - instantly gets shit on again

RIP, he never had a chance

spoon.ek9 03-06-2015 08:09 PM

lol that's how it goes for sbisa with out fanbase. i give him credit for not shitting the bed when he had to step up.

everyone was equally bad last night with the exception of lack and the goal scorers.

spideyv2 03-06-2015 08:32 PM

Sbisa is our new Rome
