Comets win 3-2 it was a pretty decent game as well.
Are all of the comets players Canucks property or is are some other teams players like has happened in the past? | Quote:

All the guys you see on the Comets are signed to the Canucks. | The Canucks don't share Utica as an affiliate with another NHL team, however not all players on Utica are Canucks property. Some players are only signed to an AHL contract with Utica and no contract with the Canucks, although rare, AHL teams can also trade with other AHL teams, not involving their NHL teams. Players with NHL contracts with another team may also be assigned to Utica on a loan basis if the Canucks agree, usually happens when the other team has no room on their AHL affiliate for that player and doesn't want to send him to the ECHL. This happened to the Canucks when they were affiliated with the Chicago Wolves, Wolves weren't owned by the Canucks so they didn't make room for all of the Canucks AHL property, a couple players were loaned out to the Sabres AHL team Rochester so they could play in the AHL.
Players on Utica that aren't Canucks property include Travis Ehrhardt, Kent Huskins, Carter Bancks, Wacey Hamilton and Curtis Valk |
