if Markstrom gets picked up We basically traded Luongo for Matthias  |
Because Gillis is an idiot.... |
I think combo of Gillis and Torts. Really shouldn't have let Torts play Lack in the Winter Classic, as a GM he should have intervened knowing the outcome. He should be smart enough to know the outcome. |
Markstrom on waivers mean that chances for Horvat or younger player can stay on with the team. That's what I heard on 1040. hahahaha I'm still laughing at yesterday when Tony Gallagher was on, someone called in and ask, hey is Tony Gallagher going to be on all the time this season? They cut him off and start blabbing about yes...wow Tony you have so many fans... Everyone else in the real world knows, that guy probably wants to yell FUCK U TONY! |
Ryan Miller playing tonight... for his sake, I hope he plays good or he'll get eaten alive right off the bat lol i'll actually enjoy reading CDC trash him if he does play bad :joy: |

I'm not familiar with Horvat's family, but I guess it's possible he's a few generations removed from Europe. The other wrench is that the CHL team actually needs to grant permission for him to pay and the Hunters aren't exactly known as an easy-going bunch. |

They played a clip on 1040 of I think it was bob Mackenzie, talking to (1410?) I think and he said he's not sure if markups will make waivers as he knows there is 4 teams who are really interested. Sucks if they pick him up.. But I rather have more forwards than 3 goalies |
^ It was McGuire who said he knows of 4 teams who are really interested in Markstrom. |
should have tried to trade him for a draft pick instead of him going on waivers... |
Well clearly they didn't wanna trade him lol And Ty punkwax, wasn't sure figured I'd try but say " I think " haha |
What do we get if someone picks him up? |
i don't think we get anything cus its waivers |

in the event that he clears waivers and goes to the minors (lol) does he still have to go through re-entry waivers to be called up? |

Sucks that he isn't on a two-way contract. Could've been sent down without going thru waivers but meh |

Common misconception thanks to EA's NHL series. Waiver eligibility depends on the age when first pro contract was signed, current age, and NHL games played. Generally speaking, it's usually age 23 for skaters and age 24 for goaltenders. http://thehockeywriterscom.c.presscd.../WAIVEelig.jpg |
