I like the Plano storage tubs a lot. How about you, T4? |

the small ones ran me 16 at walmart and the larger was 30. the olive drab green ones ran me 25 a piece at canadian tire. i'm always on the lookout for more tubs :fullofwin: they lock, stack, keep the weather out and are durable as hell. |
Pft. Stick 'em in the back of your 4Runner and use a loading bar to keep 'em from sliding. :p https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.n...12121170_o.jpg |

Good luck dude! |
Nobody taking advantage of the sockeye opening in the upper Fraser? |
I've heard it's pretty shitty so far, usually late aug/sept is more worth it if your time is limited |
Im hearing a different story. |
bunch of guys i know all fishing from jet boats this past weekend got almost nothing from fort langley to the port mann havent heard much from outside of that but numbers dont seem to be there yet, even the natives we saw trolling huge nets down the river didnt seem to be pulling up anything |
woops..........wrong fish thread, LOL. |
|
anyone have any recomendations for a lake rod/reel combo? looking for somthing castable that you can also troll with, i've done zero research so far but i'm willing to spend approx $300 for everything. Have some spare dough and would like to get a setup i'm going to have for the rest of my life |
^ i use an ultra light set up.. shamano clarus 6'6 rod ( CSS66UL2C) with a stradic reel. good for throwing out 1/8oz spinners, spoons not the best for trolling but i do well with it using ford fenders. 100mile house this week.. caught about 30 rainbows, kept 10, 2.5lb biggest one http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8j22ytxv.jpg |
That's why I go to 100 mile every year for about a week. The lake fishing in that area is awesome. |
Heading up to Timothy lake next weekend for some fishing, just past 108 mile. Buddy has been pulling out some decent rainbows lately |
I live on the Bulkley River. Come here for the best Steelhead action in the province boys. I'll post some pics as the season goes on. Berz out. |
Considering I live in Northwest Ontario now, I should really take advantage of the Wallye and Bass around here. Just been too lazy to go. Friends of mine pull out 20"+ Wallye daily. |

I'm not into fishing, I've never been in my life. This week my boss basically told me I'm coming and I tried fighting him on it but he said I had no choice and I'm coming Sturgeon fishing (team building). We were on the Fraser near Mission, I caught what I'm told is a decent sized Sturgeon, 8'3". Won me the money from our 24 man Derby. I can honestly say that I had a good time, I'm still super sore and I still don't like fish but I'd go again. http://i.imgur.com/Kk0waZ0.jpg |
day before yesterday, at the mouth of the Cap. the sun was gone and not quite high tide. P. S. - pic is not me, but lucky bastard buddy. |
I started fishing last month with some friends and got my parents into it again as well. Have yet to catch a single thing. Been mostly fishing for pinks along the Fraser in Richmond as its only 5mins from my house. My friend took me to a spot in North Van just off the second narrows bridge, by the Dollarton Hwy exit, any know what that place is called? There were a lot of salmon jumping around last month, but I haven't been there in a while. Anyone fish there recently? |
Seymour river? Had to be. |

Using 12lb Berkley Nanofil line. For lures, been using Gibbs Croc spoons, smaller pink Buzz Bombs, jigs. Basically just looking at what other people are using and asking them for tips on what has worked for them. |
