So apparently the guy that drove the Benz thru the protester area in MK is back out and says the cops are not prosecuting him.

It is crazy tonight

SkinnyPupp 10-03-2014 07:39 AM

Yeah the communist thugs and triad goons have certainly turned it into a shit show in MK

I still haven't decided if it's the government who sent them there, or the oligarchs running the businesses on Nathan that have been affected... Though I suppose in the end it's the same fucking people either way

Occupy leaders have called off talks with the government until they get rid of these fuckers

SkinnyPupp 10-03-2014 07:46 AM

There are SO many reports of police showing leniency to these thugs, but arresting the 'innocent' democracy protesters... That seems like such bullshit to me. But a lot of people are reporting it... I don't know what to think right now

CP.AR 10-03-2014 08:13 AM

FUCK THE PKLICE.

The police are told what to do not what should been done.

You don't know that

The police are told to keep the peace. They decide how that should be done.

Let's arrest the peaceful protestor and lave the communist people who are causing trouble and trying to start fight alone and don't arrest them.

twdm 10-03-2014 09:00 AM

Apparently they got caught red handed. These two triad thugs pretending to be drunk started beating people up, got caught, arrested and then released to beat up more people. This time the occupy people who recognized them earlier came and surrounded those fuckers and recorded everything on camera.

SkinnyPupp 10-03-2014 09:01 AM

A lot of what you guys are referring to are embellishments posted by the pro-democracy people. I'm on their side, don't get me wrong. But misinformation and embellishment can come from both sides.

It's more likely that the HKPD are just trying to keep people safe any way they can. I'm sure there have been arrests on both "sides" and in some cases, they just get people out of there and tell them to go home.

Actually no. It was caught on video and the police didn't even deny it.

Deny what?

Are you saying the police are working WITH the triads?

They didn't deny that they just released two people accused of assault with at least 30 witnesses with video evidence only to have them attack people again. They weren't even going to ask them for ID (which is standard practice for any crime in HK).

The best video is of these asshats swarming a 10-12 year old kid who was being escorted out by the police and leaving him with a bloody mouth.

Maybe it's because they're outnumbered 100:1, and are more concerned with making sure people don't kill each other in the streets? It takes less resources to just remove someone than it does to book them and investigate an accused crime.

Because tossing someone in a jail cell and throwing out the key is hard? They attacked police as well. You don't need any more evidence to put them in jail overnight.

Now all they've done is piss the protesters even more. There goes any last shred of trust with the police, and people are going to claim (whether true or not) that they collaborated with the triads.

NKC ONE 10-03-2014 09:55 AM

I don't think sending them off to take a taxi is the official way to handle this.

twdm 10-03-2014 10:16 AM

Amnesty international issued a statement condemning the failure of hk police to protect citizens.

Amnesty International | Hong Kong: Women and girls attacked as police fail to protect peaceful protesters

StylinRed 10-03-2014 11:47 AM

saw it on the news fights broke out and the police had to fight their way between them and create a buffer zone

its just typical honger/asian behaviour of making mountains out of mole hills to try and support their side of the argument

There is also video of what appears to be people from the blue ribbon camp strolling out from the police office to meet up with other blue ribbon supporters, and having a little briefing talk:

While this is certainly only circumstantial evidence that couldn't stand on its own, when you combine that with the leniency that the police has shown towards the blue ribbon camp, it's highly suggestive of how the two are collaborating.

TOPEC 10-03-2014 12:09 PM

I find it a lot more ballsy to sexually assault a girl and then punch a protester right in the face in front of the police. I really can't separate who the cops and the anti-protesters are anymore.

After watching at least 5 different fights breaking out on live TV today, the cops managed to officially arrest 2 people, 1 of which is a student protester that didn't even fight, the other unknown.

Edit: Cops saying they picked up 19 people now. 8 of which are suspected to have triad connections.

CP.AR 10-03-2014 12:43 PM

i really don't know what to believe anymore

This is the kind of misinformation that does nothing but hurt the protesters' cause.
