Tim Budong 10-01-2014 12:57 AM

It pains my heart to see what is happening right now, looks like the crowds got bigger.
I understand its a HUGE uphill battle. but goddamn...

Please let all this end peacefully with a fair resolution.

I am a proud Hong Kong Citizen. Our identity is at risk. Our future is at risk. Please let this end peacefully

SkinnyPupp 10-01-2014 12:58 AM

definitely looked like it.

The sudden surge of power the police had most likely got to his head.
It sucks

Traum 10-01-2014 01:17 AM

Regret or not, what is done is done. And when something is done, you just gotta deal with the consequence.

I hope he gets the book thrown at him.

Probably not, HKPD will protect him so the public won't shame him.

Reading a tweet saying HKFS will be surrounding Gov't HQ unless CY steps down.

yeesh...

This kid is a strong one. doesn't matter if he has people telling him what to do or not.

So, Anonymous Supporting Movement in HK
Greetings world. We are Anonymous. It has come to our attention that recent tactics used against peaceful protestors here in the United States have found their way to Hong Kong. To the protestors in Hong Kong, we have heard your plea for help. Take heart and take to your streets. You are not alone in this fight. Anonymous members all over the world stand with you, and will help in your fight for democracy. To the Hong Kong police and any others that are called to the protests, we are watching you very closely and have already begun to wage war on you for your inhumane actions against your own citizens. If you continue to abuse, harass or harm protestors, we will continue to deface and take every web-based asset of your government off line. That Is not a threat. It is a promise. Attacking protestors will result in releasing personal information of all of your government officials. We will seize all your databases and e-mail pools and dump them on the Internet. This is your first and only warning. The time has come for Democracy for the citizens of Hong Kong. The line has been drawn in the sand. The police are to protect, not trample on, the freedoms and democracy of their citizens. Until justice prevails hack and protest will replace it. The cause of security and democracy will be grounds for the assault on your virtual infrastructure. Take this opportunity to stand down while we give it to you, or it will get a lot worse. Operation Hong Kong engaged. We Are Anonymous. We Are Legion. We do Not Forgive. We do Not Forget. Government of Hong Kong, expect us.

I think CY have family issue to being with? There was a pic posted on CY's daughter website where she cut her wrist and CY and his wife basically deny it only having his daughter admit there is a family issue.

SkinnyPupp 10-01-2014 08:43 AM

She could be trying to throw him under the bus

But I have actually known people to be this stupid, so it's hard to say for sure.

Teriyaki 10-01-2014 09:28 AM

I wish it went a bit longer; look at the reactions of the police who were surrounding him

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. But these cyber vigilantes are nothing more than hooligans. Sure they'll draw some eyes on the subject matter, but they rarely contribute anything to the cause.

flagella 10-01-2014 01:10 PM

Like Beijing would care if hk police was hacked. In fact, that'd just give them more reason to send in prc troops, citing the inability of hk police.

Go after the real puppet master instead of the puppets.

Could we all agree to stop using vague/ambiguous metaphors in an attempt of making a point?

I mean, wouldn't be a much better point if you just said who this "real puppet master" is instead of making a general statement that really boils down to nothing?

Teriyaki 10-01-2014 05:39 PM

Maybe I failed revscene English 101. I think it's sufficiently clear from the paragraph above( and general knowledge of the situation) that the puppeteers would be the Beijing government. Not too sure why it's so offensive to be making a metaphor, if it bothers you feel free to pm and clarify with me. And.. Back to the real issue at hand.

So which is it? The puppet master (a singular term) or puppeteers? And how do you suppose they "go after them"?

Do you really the like of some mediocre hackers are able to take on an entire state?

Tim Budong 10-01-2014 07:11 PM

Grammar police time. Puppeteers. Also known as, the Beijing Government, which in essense controls the HK Government, and therefore controls the HK Police force.

I'm not telling them to do anything. But they're targeting the wrong group is all i'm saying. The police have already changed their tactics after the gongshow that was the first night of protests.

Lets face it though , Anon is not likely going to amount to anything anyways so its a moot point. Although, I would love to see them do some damage to the great firewall of China and expose their citizens to what they're so desperately hiding.
