was trying to order tickets, but wow the theatre sites are being hammered

the seattle imax is showing the movie 24hrs a day but most showings are sold out too

I don't think I've ever been this stoked for a movie before. Not just that the trailers are brilliant because they show just enough to give an idea of what they're doing without spoiling too much, but that what they ARE doing looks brilliant. It's not a shitty CGI fest like most action movies these days, and of course the 3 modern SW movies.

Fuck I can't wait... Going to buy back to back tickets for opening day PogChamp

One more thing -- I can't possibly be the only old fart that teared up a little and felt instantly nostalgic when I saw Captain Solo hugging Princess Leia, right?

i really like the old school/ original look in some of the shots, kind of like what they did at the end of RotS !

I've know I've been excited for movies in the past, but I can't recall one trailer actually getting me this excited. I am, admittedly, a little jaded about new Star Wars movies, considering the excitement I originally felt before the first prequel came out, but I think JJ can help ease those painful memories.


One thing I've noticed is that there's no Luke Skywalker in any of the trailers or movie posters. Makes you wonder why that is...

My wife was wondering if that fact was related to the mysterious figure speaking to Vader's mask...........

Then again, that's probably just classic JJ misdirection....... :suspicious:

Luke Skywalker has to be there somewhere. Hans Solo, Chewbacca, and Princess Leia are all there, and we know Mark Hamill was involved with filming as well. I'm sure we'll see him.

Man... it makes no sense that I am more eager to see this old farts than to see the new characters, but that's what I feel like!

Oh, of course he'll be in there. I'm just curious what they have up their sleeve to purposely leave him out of everything.
